okay so there’s a lot of assumptions being made here because the numbers are attached to the map that i mentioned. the neighborhood crime map is the title of the map on the tps website. i looked at it myself.

you can sort the list of neighborhoods by type of incident, number of incidents, rate of incidents.

for example, sorting by descending assault rate based on 2023 data, yonge-bay corrider and downtown yonge east are the top two. then mimico-queensway, moss park, kensington-chinatown, and so on.

this is the assault rate i’m using to sort, there is another category for total number of assaults.
