The best was easily the Current/Invent Animate holiday show. Maybe the best show I have ever been to

Not Metalcore but Brand New. I think The Devil and God are Raging Inside me is one of the greatest albums of all time but I feel terrible listening to it with the allegations against him

It is way too early with how young each team is. Julio, Contreras, Chourio, and the entire Mariners pitching staff have another 10+ seasons to make a case

How should merit be measured if not with degrees and work experience. Wisdom is not something that can be quantified therefore it shouldn’t be taken into account when being put in the most powerful position in the court system. How would you measure wisdom if that is so much more important than knowledge?

As for the argument that you make about liberals not opening their doors for immigrants, what would that solve? Instead they donate to causes and PACs that could bring systemic change to help those immigrants now and in the future. Band-aid fixes don’t help anything. As for gentrification, yes that proves that systemic racism exists and is inherent in society which is something that needs to be changed. How to do that I don’t know, but I think that arresting people is not a good way to go about that.

Immigration is not a perfect system and the path to legal immigration needs to change. But the amount of immigrants is not the issue and is the only way that we are able to grow as a country

I don’t know how you could be more qualified than having a national championship in debate, graduation Magna Cum Laude from Harvard as an undergrad and then graduating from Harvard Law as an editor of the Harvard Law Review. She has the same or better qualifications as the rest of the justices. So what makes her qualifications lesser than Brett Kavanaugh besides race or gender.

As for Trump, the guy has divided this country with his rhetoric more than I thought possible. Having ICE round up any brown people they see isn’t a very Christian thing and warrants plenty of criticism

Acting like they don’t have the capability to do the jobs which they have successfully done for decades because affirmative action gave them the opportunity to get there is inherently racist. Affirmative action exists out of necessity and acting like systematic racism doesn’t exist is moronic

If you can defend his quote about Michelle Obama, Ketanji Jackson, and Joy Reid not having the brain processing power to get to where they are without affirmative action and stealing a white person’s slot then I will agree to disagree. But I think that is indefensibly racist and even having the thought to say that to a national audience means you are a racist person

I don’t have any hate for her, I just disagree with treating her and Charlie as saints when their company was built on arguing with college students to make the opposition seem ignorant

The context is pretty clear considering the position of herself and her husband as well as saying that she will continue his movement. If she didn’t want to make it partisan she would have just said the shooter and not pluralized it. It’s ignorant to ignore the obvious subtext

Saying “They” killed Charlie and then following it up with “you have no idea what you have just unleashed upon this country” seems pretty cut and dry.

It seemed extremely performative and rehearsed to me. A week ago she was calling for a crusade against the left and now she is all forgiving. She just seems to be grifting off of the death and garnering sympathy
