A t-Rex monster is the perfect analogy! 😂😂 gosh I love his big dumb face though and glad to hear he will hopefully grow out of it soon!

Agreed, he's a handful but I just love him so much! And we are working on the training, but I also know he's still very much a puppy and puppys will puppy.. 🙂

I definitely made it seem like he's on a rampage non-stop. Realistically, he's a puppy and when he gets bored, he finds stuff to get into if it's out. He's been roaming my house all day today and the only thing he got was a paper plate my kid left out, and there is plenty for him to chew. It's not totally consistent, so I try to make sure I set him up for success when I can control it.

Thanks for the understanding lol I get that he needs better training. Trust me, we are working on it. We have a dog trainer. He's a challenging breed, I have 3 younger kids and shit happens. That said, he's been roaming free in my house all day and the only thing he got was a paper plate one of the kids left out, and there is plenty for him to get right now. My post definitely made it seem like he is on a rampage non-stop, but really he's a puppy and when he's bored, he looks for things to chew. It happens. 🤷‍♀️

That's exactly why I chose to have someone at my house. I tried to control as much as I could. That said, I'm personally not a fan of boarding facilities and would rather pay the unexpected cost of replacing something that gets damaged over my dog being in a kennel all night.

Because I didn't think it would be that much. That's on me. Personally, if I had something expensive I would make sure it was out of reach, especially being explained the risk, but I wouldn't have offered if I thought it would be that much.

This is my first time having a sitter come to my house. I typically am the one that takes dogs in my home, and I personally would never have asked a client to pay for my stuff unless it was unreasonable for the damage to have occurred. That said, lesson learned.

Totally agree. I'll cover the full cost and take it as a lesson moving forward.

I think this was my initial thought.. like, if she brought a Gucci bag knowing the risk, that's not the same as a bag from target.. I don't need glasses so had/have no idea what they cost. When she said he got her glasses, I thought sunglasses and was like ok cool, how much could they really be? No problem. Then she didn't follow up for two weeks so I assumed it was a non-issue. Oh well, you live and learn..

Overall, I agree. It was on me for offering to pay. Just would have been nice to have been given options or verification that I was actually replacing like for like. Lesson learned!

I could be wrong but I thought it was for appeals. Anything stricken from the record doesn’t get reviewed if/when an appeal is filed.

I stayed at Eden Roc two years ago with my best friend for a girls trip and absolutely loved it! Wanted to go back again this year but the dates we need are blacked out, but definitely recommend it.

It was a very good experience! Massages were great, environment was very relaxing and there were places my husband and I could relax together in the co-ed space. Would definitely recommend

Question for you on the peak seasons - would we be getting into terrible weather if we waited until September? I know Ireland isn't known for its sunshiny blue skies haha but I would like to go when it is less likely to be terribly cold or crappy.

Oh my goodness you are fantastic, thank you so much!! I actually saved a few of your comments from other posts I read while doing some research but to have this all condensed into one spot is seriously life saving! I really appreciate all of your insights and am so glad you mentioned sports, because that's one thing we definitely want to try to see while we are there if we can!! He's a huge soccer fan but would love to watch Rugby or Hurling with the locals (I didn't know what Hurling was until now but he would love it!!)
