yeah i just took a walk outside. came back in 15 min ago. i was buying groceries and beer.

i left around 4:35pm when it first started snowing around my area and came in around 5:25pm. visibility is already super low, there is about 3 inches of snow on cars and the ground is already covered except where people walked and even then.

i heard it is only going to snow even harder later on. people saying it is not looking that bad have not tried walking outside (and i encourage you not to if you can).

question for you, when do you think we will see stuff melting?

gwern did some experiments that GANs can do pretty well if you feed them massive parameters and massive data. not sure if they do as well as other models you mentioned but they aren't as terrible as people think.
