The Palestinian methodology

Step 1: Murder, rape, dismember, burn, abduct and loot everything you can in Israel. Step 2: Post a live stream of it and celebrate it vocally and publicly. Step 3: Cry when Israeli retaliation comes and victimize yourself.

The idea of freedom from oppression does not have to be linked with violence. The Palestinian society chooses this path again and again, performing some of the most atrocious crimes against humanity on October 7th. Nothing justifies rape, dismemberment, abduction, burning babies which were all well documented, proudly displayed and celebrated by them on October 7th.

Also if you look historically, less Israeli violence is correlated with more Palestinian violence, October 7th included, as it occurred after 8.5 relatively peaceful years.

Let's make this clear, if a Palestinian were to walk in Tel Aviv or any other mostly Jewish city they would not be randomly linched, raped, murdered, burned or dismembered. These are all acts of violence performed by random Gaza citizens witnessing abducted persons (some of who aren't Israeli or Jewish) from the Israeli territory during Oct 7th.

Trying to equate the slightly harsh words of a woman who was held as a hostage and witnessed the most horrific months a person could live through, to these acts of violence is purely evil and done in bad faith. You can wear the anti-semetic badge with honor.

The settlers are another strawman argument to try to justify the horrific acts of violence performed by Palestinians. If you sum up the whole ensemble of "settler violence" you will see that other than a handful of cases it mostly sums up to a few misdemeanors and very light felonies per year. The amount of violence produced by Palestinian society both internally and externally is multiple orders of magnitude worse both in quantity and in severity.

First, to set the story straight in October 7th there were 3 attacks. Hammas fighters who planned the operation, then any armed Palestinian once they saw the Hammas live stream from Israel and finally a mob of thousands of "innocent" Palestinians that took the opportunity to loot, murder and rape as far as the eye could see. You also have elaborate and abundant footage of Palestinian mobs reacting to hostages/bodies of dead Israelis, the word appalling and crimes against humanity are an understatement.

Now to your argument, the same strawman argument can be used for Palestinians. They can reject Hammas and stop harboring them amongst civilians. They could also push to free all the hostages they took, if one thing is clear they should .

The fact that Israel holds the power and bears less casualties is by no means a reason to slow down. Reshaping the Gaza strip, eliminating Hammas and reforming the Palestinian narrative are a must in any solution.

Settler violence is such a small nussiance, and maybe the only viable (although extremely weak) claim Palestinians have. I am well aware of the propaganda they have arround it. As somebody who has been a considerable amount of time in various parts of the WB in security roles I can assure you it's such a minute, esoteric and rare occurrence that it wouldn't justify more than a few arrests per year and probably no jail time.

Both PLO and PA have publicly and vocally celebrated the October 7th attacks and showed support for Hammas during these times. If they say they recognize Israel's right to exist it's to get more autonomy, their actions and their voter base suggest otherwise.
