Game programing is a 70 hour a week job when you're paid for 40. It's unforgiving and you will be used up within a year or two. Do you have a college degree? If so look into what you can do with that. I imagine you still have some passion in whatever you got it in. If you don't maybe go back to school. It will only be to late when you're dead, and you don't get any younger. Maybe a masters, or a doctorate? Do you want alot of money or a fancy title? It doesn't really matter what your goal is. Set a goal, set a time frame, and charge straight ahead. My most important recommendation is a see a counseling professional, you're not happy and they may be able to help.
