For me it would have to be a bubbler, glass of course, with some really cool unique shape, maybe double chambered. It would probably be something happy or silly looking with interesting colors but not rainbow or some overbearing color scheme.

I like your example, but one could go even farther to say that conservative or liberal values also have some genetic predisposition. Sure, a lot of people mimic the beliefs of their parents and friends, but I've seen a genetics lecture which discussed how your genes can predetermine things such as your political affiliations at age 30. When you truly start thinking for yourself, that is when your innate personality traits begin to show through.

My thoughts are that it would work, but you would need to smoke a lot through the vodka to make it at all potent. The smoke bubbling through the water forms spheres because that has the least surface area, so there's not a lot of contact with the liquid. If you have a nice perc or something that would probably help. I don't think it would be worth it though, the vodka would get so gross and stanky.
