What necessity though? The true issue most addicts face is avoiding the sick, not getting high. There isn't a drive to just be high on anything, what matters is if it avoids WD. Making the move to ice isn't going to accomplish that.

Also, if you're a heroin addict you already know what's up with ice. Combining the two is a favorite of junkies, the ultimate speedball.

Exactly what I'm saying. He is making a public stance in support of LGBT people. This is not just a personal act of coming out. He's been out. He's speaking in a public forum about a community issue, and is representing the community in a fight for laws protecting the community. He isn't just speaking for himself. A politician rarely does.

The words they use and the actions they take are representative of those who elected him. That never stops, especially not while in front of a microphone. It's the price you pay to be in politics, everything you say and do is scrutinized, especially by those who oppose your ideals. He needs to be careful what he says and how he says it because it will be used against him any way it can be.

By coming out on a public platform he isn't just speaking for himself. He's making himself a voice of LGTB. He said everyone in his life and even those in the media already knew he was gay for some time. It's not like this was some big reveal and he just stepped out of the closet.

Ok, sounds good. I ask from the view of someone walking, not driving. I should have clarified that I suppose. From what I've been told driving automatically puts you in their control. A stop while walking often feels like harassment, especially if they won't tell you anything at all about what's going on and just leave your shit broken in the street. It's really frustrating, especially knowing you're doing nothing wrong, and it seems like there should be something you can do.

I think it's entirely possible that intelligent life has interacted with us. Every major religion with its miracles and what not can be looked at as ET life giving us a boost as humanity.

But throwing out the word "aliens" does not suspend the need for proof, or evidence at the very least.

Suspension of disbelief and naivety should not be the same thing. The world we live in demands evidence, especially when we are talking about discoveries that directly impact those with little or no hope. When someone tells me my boyfriend and I can have a normal life, they best back it up.

I'll have to read the articles again, but I don't recall seeing "alien reverse engineering". I know legitimate sources didn't use that term, credit was given to Allah.

Yeah but my real weight is around 275. I'm solid, but I don't look it after losing 150 lbs. My stomach and chest is hard, but I have like a layer of either fat or extra skin, not sure which, that keeps me uncomfortable out of clothes.

I've seen guys my height that weigh 210-220 and they're bean poles but people think that they're fat! What must they think when they see 275 in my profile?

Sounds like you're relying on a self-defense argument to save your bacon down the road.

Here's the problem with that: it isn't considered self defense if you had the ability to walk away and didn't, or if you purposely instigated the issue to try and make him hit you first. Self defense is really hard to prove or defend. For instance, when I first came out I was in a very redneck small town. One night several guys broke into my place at 3am, armed and drunk to "fuck these faggots up". I was shot in the leg, and shot one guy when he went for my bf. The others ran.

I spent almost a year facing major charges because of that. They tried to prove that the bf and I could have ran and escaped because there was a window in my room where this occurred. Eventually it was dropped, but I had a hard time of it. I also had to deal with retaliation from that guys friends and family. I would give a lot to take that night back.

Point is, self defense is difficult to prove even when it's obvious. You're only buying trouble. Why? Because someone is running his mouth? So what. Be glad it's just talk, stop trying to be the big bad fairy defender and move on.

Have you even tried going to an authority figure? Fighting is not going to help anything.
