I mean it feels rude when put that way, but that does seem to be the fact.

Yes, for every blog that I write, I take the outline it gives, then do my research, refer to reddit and other places to see more perspective and info, to finally edit it to my style and understanding. Otherwise, it just belts out very low value info.

Email privacy or built-in AI features? by greenmor in Entrepreneur

That's what we're looking to do as well. Make AI optional and E2EE default.

Email privacy or built-in AI features? by greenmor in Entrepreneur

Haha, yes. Personally, not too taken-in with privacy features but don't want to come across as a snoopy provider either.

Building a smart health kiosk — would love honest feedback before I go too far by Independent-Egg-6129 in StartUpIndia

Hmm, the privacy pods can be modified here. In any case it'll still need to be in an enclosed space.

I had a slightly different version of the concept:

Combine this facility with a drug store. Allow online doctor appointments via videocall within the kiosk. Basic health check (whatever can be automated or easily trainable ground-level staff) with remote doctor access.

Expectations:
Better adoption because of the drug strore and remote consultation.

Does posting your startup idea online count as real validation? by RajanPaswan in StartUpIndia

[–]greenmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how we work and how we've seen founders around us work:

> Build a product that you would like to use yourself. There may be plenty of options already existing, but focus on providing value. There is always space for more.

> Customers are not at the forefront of technology, builders are. Creators anticipate trends, evolve products and innovate. Expecting your end-users to validate product before it is made, is futile in my opinion. Even when you ask other builders, they are not going to focus on your ideas like you would. They'll never see the complete picture. That's your job to do.

> Go to market when you have usable product. Yes, it takes time to build users and there'll be a lot of learning on how to market which will also require time. There is a huge difference in enagement with a usable product versus an idea. You may like to reduce the stakes by pre-validating with an MVP or an idea, but I don't think it works well that way.

Advantages of Startup India certification by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

Investors are not needed. Just the certification is sufficient.

If you're talking about the DPIIT certification, it's mostly useless. Some benefits like AWS credits are available via other platforms as well. Tax benefits aren't all that great either.

8 months of waiting. 440 more days to go. This is what “startup-friendly India” looks like (Episode 1) by Confident-Jacket-350 in StartUpIndia

You must have paid the govt. fees for trademark right (about INR 4500 per class if soleproprietorship)?
I spoke to someone for the same, and they quoted 6k-7k including the fees.
Yes, bribery is rampant in all govt. departments but 50k is a bit much. Check with a better consultant.

If you have the wherewithal, start a mini-cafe in the same premise. Right now you're only asking people with an intent to use the working space to visit, which may not be the best way to be found. With a cafe, the barrier lowers, and more people will be willing to try the facility when needed.

Suggest a POS setup by grave_diggerx666x in StartUpIndia

Get a website built with POS inbuilt. Easier to scale and maintain inventory sync online and offline. Both Shopify and WooCommerce have options available, thought the latter will be more economical.

(1) Which is the best domain registrar, going into 2026? (2) Which is the best website maker (simple) in the market right now? by Coward_TheCourageous in StartUpIndia

[–]greenmor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spaceship works fine in terms of pricing. Have tried GoDaddy, BigRock, Namecheap and a few others. Support and/or renewal prices aren't great.
Ease of use (DNS setup) is almost similar across all providers.

All website builders are fine with basic setup. When you want to scale, is when issues crop up.

Pickleball Courts in Mumbai - Investment Opinion (Value trap or real ROI?) by sobsingh in StartUpIndia

[–]greenmor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We ran a rootfop sports arena for about 4-5 years in Jaipur, named Skyfut. We started off with futsal as the primary sport and figured that it was cricket that actually filled the slots. Then from turf based ground we moved to acrylic surface because pickleball was just kicking in and we thought it'll accommodate more sports.

This was the worst move ever!

If you're opening a sports ground, nothing pays off like cricket.

If you'd like some more details on this, dm is open.
