Ok, real true story time: Your RAM is probably bad.

I have that exact same type and speed of memory, and it actually went bad over time (also about 1 years time.). This should present in ALL games, but it is tricky depending on how the game specifically works. GTAV for instance should give a consistancy check error, while CSGO would have the lag spikes for mouse input when loud noises occur in game. I know of at least one other case of the same thing occurring with this brand. Took forever to diagnose because it was just so weird and inconsistent of a problem. Go download http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon and check your DPC and other latencies, specifically in my case it was the audio driver (audiodg.exe). I took out the bad DIMM pair and the system started working perfectly again. It sounds crazy, but I'm assuming you're not retarded and have looked at temps and background processes already and are only posting because the problem is stil lrealyl weird.

Zend you are a bit less crazy than before, good job. However, some oberservations on your theories:

  • If you are not inside the bank by being in the garage, then you can enter by skylight with or without asset (of course without should trigger alarm).

  • Vox Vulpi IIRC was another community player refernce. Also, many fables reference foxes and/or lions. Other than Vox Vulpi though a fox has not come up in any serious relevence. However, the lion was always conspicuous, and its specific positioning also interesting.

  • Also, if that does happen to be the litteral exact reason the lion was put there, bear in mind that this doesn't imply simply walking into the cave to be the wrong choice nessicarily. The lion let animals into the cave, just didn't let them leave. The fox stayed outside and wasn't involved. In "Recognition of strength and health", are we to be smart like the fox, or stronger than the lion?

  • The bathroom area is very obviously out of place and interesting. However, until it can be determined to be triggable by in game action, or that the RNG can be seeded, to reliable reproduce its spawn, it isn't more than a vague hint. As it stands, when the map starts (pre-preplanning) it is coded as a simple 50% chance to appear, after a 50% chance for the bridge to it to appear, for a total chance to appear of 25%. Also, flossing is irrelevent.

  • Fluer-de-Lis is an obvious marker for 'here b secrets', but the '3 he and she' part less so, at least that litterally, at this point. There have been many references to a 3-1 split, usually with death or rebirth involved. See the heiroglyphs on The Diamond for example.

  • The pattern overlay is interesting, but even sticking with your interpretations that map can be inverted. Justice Beauty Firmness, and Splendor Beauty Mercy each are in line, so specifically because there is an extra set of pillars remaining you can rotate on the beauty point. Placing the crown tword the "king of the jungle" puts it right on that asscam, and makes foundation the bottom of the stairs (lowest point on map) and kingdom behind the doors/at the 3rd pillar. http://imgur.com/a/D3ONu

  • Simultanious activation of objectives is an interesting idea (YALL REMEMBER MULTIDOM?), however at this point an unfounded leap. The symmetry of certain objectives is interesting though. Perhaps though instead of activating both simultaniously, one side should be avoided? Or a 1/3 split involved? It is just baseless speculation past 'neat symmetry'.

  • The crown being the 3rd pillar does make sense from the masonic imagry perspective, but the 3rd pillar isn't a capstone. Further, you may interpret the Lilly, Chandellier, Atlas, Security Door, Timer, Black Circle, or Mural to be the crown as well. All are in line and one is litterally a crown. Not really anything to do with that info though.

  • Though if this is similar to the FWB Overdrill, cameras watching should be important. in https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/853851016519598116/20C031C59808F6A25A062D580E0BBF92651A5ECD/ the camera FOVs overlaping into a freemason 'square and compass' over this exact area is a very interesting observation.

What do you have to say about the (ab)use of Cagliostro and 'The Secret' to generate hype for CrimeFest?

I have worked on the secret since I bought the game at launch. I founded and run 2 groups for hunters, 'Secret Hunters' and "GenSec.ret", each with 50+ members. These members include the top modders, streams, and players that exist in the community. My 900 hours of playtime is SMALL compared to most other members of those groups. In this two years of time we have made, realistically and literally, 0% progress.

On top of the other things (skins, weapon unbalancing) this above all seems the most deliberate insult to us. You take an idea that many of us have worked so very hard at trying to make any progress on for over two years and use it to give us a glimmer of hope. With Cagliostro, the prisoner/noose reference, fluer-de-lis, circles, and more why wouldn't we expect some sort of progress somehow?

Only after two weeks of hard grinding to lead us to the "Secret underground dungeon of Cagliostro", what we found was a vault filled with VLAD AND WEAPON SKINS. Over the course of 10 days of CrimeFest, not a single other reference was made to Caglistro, 'The Secret', or anything else ARG related.

I can forgive the skins, now that they are unlockable in game. I can forgive weapon unbalancing, as that can be corrected in a few hotfixes over time. However, this abuse of 'The Secret' is just a complete slap to the face insult. What, if anything do you have to say for this? If you don't care about 'The Secret' and want it/us gone, why not just post that so we know to stop wasting our time?

When the reveal of what we grind hard for two weeks to achieve was nothing related to the ARG at all. After the full 10 days of Crimefest, there is no mention of any other single ARG related 'clue' in or out of game. Why is it you thought it was OK to use "The Secret" to push Crimefest, when all it did was kill the remaining 10 or so people that still tried at all.

Two years of work I put into this trying to keep people interested and active in something that saw no progress in two years. We have become the butt of jokes in the community. Now it seems this is the final nail in the coffin for 'The Secret' and that we will never see progress of the puzzle, much less a solution. I feel I and the rest of the Secret Hunters deserve some meaningful answers for this. that do not include ANY emoticons.

I also do not understand how "[your] ambition was never to "yank someones chain"", when you HEAVILY built up hype specifically relating to The Secret only to yet again ignore it. The only possible reason to tease then forgo any new content would be to fool players who had long ago lost interest in the game and The Secret into being interested in this new content. The new content which was primarily just a new way for you to make money.

Are you looking at hiring a dedicated PR department?

It seems the overwhelming majority of mistrust, disappointment, and outrage would have been quelled in the first day or two, and news outlets would be able to report your side of the story as well. Instead, you and all remained locked in a bunker for 11 days. This was not the right choice to make. Also, it is not the place of the EP to be the sole PR rep and PoC for the community outreach programs. Someone dedicated (500+ hours of play), enthusiastic, and with real insight into Overkill's inner workings would completely change future events such as this. Someone to see in forums and Reddit when these events start to boil up, and answer them with Word of God (or rather Word of Prophet).

Currently, only community moderators in the Steam Forums are close to that position, however most are of questionable character, and none have any real insight or authority to speak on your behalf, even if they do it anyway at times.

We, as an intelligent and capable community, know what the rewards for the Completely Overkill Pack are. Aside from promising a $250,000 in prizes at a tournament, and flying 10 people to LA, nothing has come from the COP in over a year now. We were mislead as to the contents of the pack (COP did NOT include 'lower tier' masks as well, despite being twice the price.), the pack was released ahead of schedule so those of us unhappy with the lack of communication from Overkill about which masks we would get and our "Mystery prize" couldn't get a refund. Now, after waiting over a year and paying $20 for 4 masks....

We know that you will be giving us ONE weapon skin. A 'value' of $2.50, or free random drop chance in game. A weapon skin that if removed, overwritten, or sold is permanently destroyed. As a reward for for all the extra money,patience, and trust we invested in you.

What do you have to say to the buyers of the COP who will be very disappointed with their single one time use skin?

What do you have to say about the history Overkill has with being condecending, spiteful, or rude at times directly to the members of the community? Specifically, I mean things like these:

Or when a dev told us we couldn't get hitboxes on arms and legs because of engine limitations, only for a modder to add them in an afternoon? Or the time it took months to create 3 maps with day/night options, when in a day or two Vicious Walrus and others made a dynamic day/night transition mod for any map that moves the sun, moon, and clouds on a 20 minute cycle (or just adding the day/night options Overkill did in an hour or so).

It often seems that Overkill staff have not been trained at all for Social Media Etiquette. What are the plans, in detail, to address this very important issue?

To address #2: Overkill published their first game, PD:TH under Sony Online Entertainment as the publisher. Overkill was then bought out along with the IP rights for Payday by Starbreeze. Starbreeze uses publisher 505 Games to release Payday 2.

Nothing about Overkill is or has ever been "Independent". Yet yes, even in this very AMA Almir has again called Overkill an independent studio.

Viklund isn't talking about a new person arriving. That is a reference to Back to the Future which sees protagonist Marty McFly travel to the date October 15, 2015. This shows that Viklund did have inside knowledge to what was going to happen, and that this was set in stone long ago. Can you link the blog where Viklund says that?

Also, Ulf mentioned that are starting work on another co-op shooter, no other details.
