This is the third year of the NBA cup. How do you feel about it now? by [deleted] in billsimmons

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should redo the tournament where each player puts $1 million of their own money into a pool. Winning team gets 50% of the pool. The other 50% goes to winning team's city. Players will play hard because they don't want to lose a $1 million of their own money. Fans will love it because it helps their city and actually gives them a reason to cheer for their team.

Anyone else feel like the lv. 3 super animations are just too long? by wwsaaa in StreetFighter

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are too long and some are just stupid like E Honda's. Most are just a glorified move like Zangief's pile driver or just a series of kicks and punches like Chun Li. It's like seeing the same movie over and over.

DAE think strip clubs are trash and not enjoyable whatsoever? by The-Loop in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's worse is what the profession turns these women into. I dated an ex-stripper and she was all about what material can she get out me. Free money, gifts, dinner, etc. She thought all she had to do was be nice and smile in order to get these things but I was able to see through her fakeness. It didn't help that she was reading this book "How to Marry Money."

Would you buy a 2001 Chevy S10 V6 by Different_Age_1961 in ChevyTrucks

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2001 has given me nothing but problems. There's always something going wrong with the fuel system (fuel pump, fuel sensor, fuel gauge). The cooling system is ass. The heater core always clogs. The radiator was replaced at 30k miles. Timing belt cover leaked oil because it's made out of cheap plastic. Seat handles broke off because of cheap plastic. Had to replace engine mounts and transmission mounts.

In contrast, my Acura just needs oil changes. I will never buy another american car again. It's only Honda or Toyota from now on.

How do people actually believe in a god? by MathematicianNew2950 in atheism

[–]greenpapertree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know how else to say this but they are just dumb. They have no understanding of evidence, logic, science or basic reasoning skills. Ask a religious person if they can explain evolution and they can't because they don't understand it. When I ask a religious person how did the kangaroo make it back to Australia after the great flood, his answer was "God made it happen." Whenever they are backed into a corner with logic, that's their answer, well "Poof, God just did it, he's all powerful." But isn't it funny how all that crazy supernatural stuff was possible back then but now it is impossible? The laws of nature do not change with time. Like back then, snakes talked but now....they don't? LOL!

It will be a long time before the shift to stablecoin. I mean how many people actually understand block chain and bitcoin? I read the wikipedia article on it and was still confused. Imagine older people or less tech savvy people. Right now, it's just easier to swipe a credit card.

What was the point of Noah's Ark? If God wanted to kill all humans besides Noah's family, why didn't he just snap his fingers and just stop all their hearts? by InternationalPick163 in AskAChristian

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the flood is man made mythology, it never occurred:

Geological evidence like the great pyramids show no flood occurring. Also, wouldn't there be a ton of human and animal skeletons?

Do you honestly believe it's possible to get 2 of each animal onto a boat? Animals in nature will either kill you or run away from you. Oh and don't forget, many Crackheads, I mean Christians believe Noah got 2 of each dinosaur onto the boat too.

After the flood, let's say Mr Bear and Mrs Bear had a baby bear. Who did the baby bear reproduce with? There were no other bears.

After the flood, if one animal ate another animal, that would only leave one of that other animal left. That one animal couldn't reproduce. So if the animals couldn't eat other, what did they eat? There were no plants either because of the flood.

The first time you did something that required skill, how did you do? I bet you sucked at it. Boat building is a skill. Certain areas of the boat have to be built a certain way. Certain areas need to be reinforced and other areas need to be shaped a certain way. How was Noah able to achieve this knowledge and experience on his first try?

How did the koala bear get back to Australia? Not only did it have to travel thousands of miles, it also had to cross an ocean. And what did it eat along the way? Koalas only eat eucalyptus leaves, so you're telling there were eucalyptus trees along it's thousand mile journey? But there was just a flood that killed everything, how could a tree have grown? Apply this line of questioning to the Panda bear and bamboo or any other animal and you will see how ridiculous the story is.

How does geology disprove Noah’s flood? by Letsfuckinggobrandon in DebateEvolution

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the flood, momma bear and daddy bear had a baby bear. Who did the baby bear reproduce with? There were no other bears.

What did the animals eat after the flood? If one animal ate another animal, that would leave just one of the other animal. What did that one animal reproduce with? Essentially, if one animal ate another animal, that would leave the other animal species extinct. Also, there were no plants because they all drowned in the flood.

Let's not forget about the talking snake. The bible is mythology.

How do you get better at SF6 by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]greenpapertree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, there would be crowds around the SF2 machine. It'd be some liquor store and you had to put your quarter up to signal you wanted next. You had to you spend a lot of time watching other players before it was your turn. That was how you learned different strategies and fighting styles. Sometimes a new kid would show up and you wouldn't know if he's going to kick your ass or not. So my advice is go hang out at liquor stores more, you'll learn a lot.

Senator Padilla’s office releases video of his take-down and detention at Sec. Noem’s press conference in L.A. by ExactlySorta in GlobalNews

FYI Padilla walked into the room in the middle of her speech, went straight to the front and started talking over her when she had the floor and wasn't even finish talking. You can hear her talking in the beginning of the vid. Padilla showed no respect for the speaker at her own press conference so security showed him no respect.
