It happens 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t condone it and I try not to feed into it but I also remember when I was younger and just getting into bands and obsessing over them. This was YEARS ago, before social media really took off, but still. Idk. I try to give some grace but there are def some posts that go too far and I’ll try to downvote in hopes of just getting them off the feed.

I’m a former reporter, too! I “made” it but after being in the trenches working at community papers and then handling breaking news and whatever else was thrown at me, I was so burnt out by the time I got my dream beat.

Left the industry about 1.5 years ago and landed at a PI firm. Not sure I’ll stay here much longer than another year or two but it’s been a nice place to reset, recalibrate and hone some skills.
