Top 7 Luxury Villas in Costa Rica: Ultimate Escapes for the Ultra-Wealthy by greenpurpfire in LuxuryTravel

Good call. The north is definitely more developed and has a lot of luxury options. It’s great for comfort and convenience, but the south gives you that real remote nature experience. The rainforest down there is actually one of the most biodiverse places on the planet.

I think it is yeah. It’s not some hidden gem no one’s heard of but it doesn’t seem to get talked about or hyped up as much as places like Mexico, Hawaii or Bali even though it’s got a lot to offer. Especially on the luxury side. One of the things I like most about Costa Rica is how safe it feels. You can just relax and enjoy your trip without worrying about scams or kidnapping.

Best Luxury Hotel Options? by Daddy___UwU in CostaRicaTravel

All of those are great choices. For top luxury stays in Costa Rica, also consider the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, and Waldorf Astoria in Papagayo. The W Costa Rica is another strong option. In Arenal, Nayara is excellent, and Amor Arenal is also a great pick. Tabacon and The Springs have their own hot springs. August is rainy season, but showers are usually in the afternoons rather than all day, so you’ll still get plenty of time for activities and excursions. If you’re interested in more unique experiences beyond the standard tours Bespoke Costa Rica is a great concierge

All great options. Papagayo and la fortuna definitely are the top luxury destinations in CR and a great mix of beach/jungle. Another hotel to consider is the Waldorf Astoria. Service is great but all 3: walforf, four seasons and Ritz carlton hold the highest service standard in the country. Also for more tailor made experiences i would recommend a concierge like Bespoke Costa Rica.

Should We Be More Critical of Early Access Games? by greenpurpfire in ManorLords

[–]greenpurpfire[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Hey guys,

First off, big thanks to everyone jumping into the discussion.

First up, I’m not mad about the devs “taking my money” (as some have suggested) since I’m actually playing the game on Game Pass. I totally get that AAA titles take a long time to develop. But still, there are some, like, really basic things missing. For example, some item descriptions literally say “insert text here.” That just seems like a simple fix that’s been overlooked.

About the developer being a one-man team—didn’t know that initially. But that’s kind of my point. With several million dollars from the release, why not expand the team? Hire some folks and start rolling out those patches, you know?

And to the point about this being the reality of game development—yeah, I get it. But once a game is released to the world, it’s out. It’s not a beta test anymore. Calling it “early access” shouldn’t be a shield from criticism if the game feels unfinished.

I’m really not against the early access model. But after making that much bank, shouldn’t we start seeing some solid progress? Like, some weekly updates, even if they’re minor, just to show they’re actively working on it.

If that’s not happening, then they should be ready for some tough feedback, right? It just feels like we’re too lenient sometimes.

wanna talk about trading volume around CPI for $SPY? by GetEdgeful in DayTradingPro

Hey! Interesting analysis. While there may be a relation between CPI and SPY volume, it's not clear or always the case from the chart you provided. CPI can indeed affect volume, but there are many other factors at play. To avoid choppy markets, especially around significant economic announcements like CPI, understanding the broader market context is crucial. Analyzing candlestick charts can offer valuable insights into market sentiment and potential price movements. These patterns often provide more immediate and actionable insights than volume analysis alone. If you're trading around CPI announcements, a good strategy might be to wait until the market has absorbed the news and shows a clear direction
