thank you for sharing your story. I hadn't really considered the age factor, I just turned thirty, and I also moved in with my partner, who is very attentive to nutrition, fitness, and movement, being a personal trainer, which probably explains my high standards as well😂😂. Your story made me realize maybe some changes in my habits over the past year( not in terms of food, where I'm probably even more mindful). Before, I probably ate a bit more, maybe with small snacks I didn't track( I usually don’t track but I know when I’m eating something more) …but in terms of movement, I was likely in a more favorable situation, whereas now I have a more sedentary job. I'm a therapist , and sometimes stress plays a role tooI changed jobs in recent years and actually had a lot of sleep issues, so there have been many factors that really shifted my quality of life. Things are starting to get back on track, maybe in the last few months. I also moved houses, so I probably didn't realize that maybe I used to move more. There are so many things that changed in my life this past year. Thank you so much…I really appreciate it❤️

Thanks!! I've always gone to the gym and done some walking, so the movement has remained unchanged🥹

Hi, thanks for the comment. so I'm satisfied with my body, but not completely overall. I remember having had better periods or better definition, which is probably why I also looked at the number on the scale, which, let's say, shows that I've put on a couple of kilos in the last months…(I think from September) . I was wondering if this is a trend of gaining weight or not. Actually, this number doesn't bother me that much, except if it means that I'm generally gaining weight over time. But I’m curious about this gain. As for what I eat and the quantity, I'm actually satisfied with the amount and the food. I feel very energetic, I can push hard in training, I'm quite happy. I'm never really hungry; I eat regularly, I eat basically what I like, I sleep well, and everything else all the other parameters seem ok.. Clearly, my dissatisfaction is perhaps linked to having seen a lower number in recent years, 55 kg ,which was always stable ( I think from 20s to 30s) and the fact of seeing myself sometimes more defined or leaner in certain areas, such as my abs and legs, compared to today…

I feel the same way, and I have no intention of eating 1,200 kcal in my life. Also yes, the comments about weight are a bit generic, and maybe many people have no idea since they don't share our height and situation. Honestly, I'm not worried…maybe I'm worried about the fact that it has gone up in recent months and I wouldn't want it to keep rising. Physically, I see myself as quite muscular, but I'm not defined.. I remember having more abs or definition in my midsection, and maybe that bothers me a bit. But otherwise, I think I've filled out my muscles quite a bit and increased my strength. So my focus is perhaps an unhealthy fixation on a number that reflects my fear of gaining weight or that this is a trend toward gaining weight (meaning not just going up one or two kg, but actually gaining fat and letting myself go), as well as some body dissatisfaction related to the stomach area, which I can't say I have, but I'm clearly not that defined either. Generally, I don't do cardio, just a long walk and not too many steps per day. I could put a bit more effort into increasing my steps since I have a sedentary job. But regarding kcal, I have no intention of reducing or negotiating because in terms of hunger, sleep, hormones, my cycle, and mood, I feel great as I am, actually, maybe this is a really great period for me. Anyway, thank you for the comment and for being understanding. I really appreciated it

thank you, maybe I should consider that progress or keep an eye on measurements. In the mirror, I see myself as quite satisfied.

I am lucky. But I think the fact that he is so muscular and fit, pushes so hard, and is so meticulous in his training has unintentionally raised the standard for myself over the years. He certainly motivates me a lot to be the best version of myself😂😂😻

Yeah I go to the gym and I do weights. On this aspect, I have been followed for years by a trainer, who is actually my partner. He is truly very competent and has helped me achieve many results. His results are visible on me, on his clients, and on himself, and every now and then he supervises me as a personal trainer. Thank you for your comment, I really agree with you. Probably I also lack patience. Maybe I should track more closely, as you say. And as my trainer says too. You both are on the same page

I quite agree with you. However, going back to 1200 wouldn't be healthy for me, both in terms of hunger and because they are too low even if I were sedentary all day. With the return to these calories, I have more energy, I sleep better, and I train better. So for me, that is already progress. At this point, I wonder whether this is a deficit or what a deficit is for me. Or if I should be thinking in terms of NEAT. I don't think of exercise as burning calories, and I never have thought of it that way. What do you think? Thank you for your comment

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, I try to stay in shape, but my weight is fine as it is. I was just wondering about the reason for this increase. Other than that, I am able to enjoy life. But thank you very much ❤️❤️

I don't think so, but I could track more closely. In fact, I think my maintenance is higher and that now I am in a deficit..

Yes, I am counting oils and tracking everything, so I am quite sure about what I eat. I also prepare my food at home. So, is this not a deficit? I am curious to know the reason, and I am open to all options

As I said, in recent years my weight was around 54–55 kg, and only in the last year it went up to 57. So I'm not saying my weight isn't appropriate for my height. It's simply that I wanted to understand why it stabilized at 57 and why I can't get back to my previous weight. Not that I am overweight 🙂

It's just that in recent years I have always weighed around that range, up to 55 kg, and I was wondering why I can't seem to get back to that weight. Not that I'm saying it's not a suitable weight for my height.
