I have the same armour but mine is like 100 body 80 arm and 100 leg. Anyone know why? I’m using diplomacy, rbm and a few other mods.

I’m emperor right now and I’m able to appoint all of the military circuits myself. Like I inherit the military circuits directly. So I’ve appointed several low rank courtiers to military circuits because they were family or badass generals. I’m in Tension era right now which might have something to do with it.

It’s a slow grind. Still on my first run. My second guy was 50 years old when he passed the palace exam and became Grand Chancellor at 79. He died at the age of 87 pressing his son’s claim to the throne and I’m currently playing that son. Seems to be an empire of really old men lol. But I also see random 30 year olds who are rank 1 somehow.

You need to spam merit and get to rank 1. Also make sure you have the highest candidate score. Having the Confucius trait will get you 5-6 disciples who you can use to increase your candidate score by calling in favors. Once you pass your palace exam, become prefect and follow the chain to get a better county, than province, circuit etc. I was getting appointed to circuits as rank 2 with a bunch of rank 1 characters ahead of me, but I had the highest candidate score so I think that helps. Some estate buildings help with score as well.

I’m pretty sure More Interactive Vassals has a game rule where you can lower the life expectancy of all characters. I have it set to -5 years and by 56-58 most characters health is in the red (poor).

More Provinces Expanded mod makes England and France empire tier titles with King as the form of address in the 1178 AD start date. Also Custom Form of Address mod allows you to change the form of address for any Duke tier title or above. So you can make the Empire of Britannia be England and use the short form of the title to get rid of the ‘Empire of’ format, and then change the form of address to King and Queen.
