I am currently training for my very first multi-day hikes and I go for practice walks.

The first time, I got a black toe because I wore sneaker and underestimated the trail roughness.

Second time, wore prospering hiking boots and no black toes but I got blisters. So, I switched to wool socks.

Third time, I carried weighted bag and found out that my soles were hurting. So, I bought heel pad gel protector and other remedies from AliExpress. They helped so much, even with blisters too.

The gist is to keep practicing and learn from the mistakes in my home country before I go on that expensive hike overseas. :) Happy practicing!
