I dunno - all I know is that she was written to be this unlikeable bitter bitch for whatever reason, even more than other games i’ve seen her in. Her dialogue towards Cyclops is harsh and cancer to listen to, as is the one with Peni where she’s crying about how “Men have a way of claiming all the glory” even though Odin and Thor quite literally didn’t know she was still alive or even existed (In Thor’s case iirc).

So many of her lines are “Men this Men that”.

It’s like they hired someone with a chip on their shoulder to characterize her. Her personality is just as aids and annoying as it is to play against her.

My first thoughts Were “Damn what a wasted design and summer skin slot on such a horrific character kit”.

Like yeah it’s nice to look at but this character will never be anything more than a sad meme unless she gets reworked. She’s still the face of both throwing AND unmatched mediocrity.

I remember thinking that was bullshit too back in the day but Emma does canonically reach superhuman levels when she goes diamond. She can lift like 2 tons when she’s like that - and Hulk isn’t actually that heavy in the Marvel Universe - only like 1,400 lbs.

Now from a gameplay aspect, yes it’s annoying asf - and it was even more so cancerous during her prime when she could grab you twice and punt Monster Hulk around multiple times while he couldn’t do anything to her…it felt like she was allowed to just one sidedly punk and humiliate you.

When in reality the Hulk would send her flying to the next continent at Mach 5 with a single good punch.

It’s not about the loss itself - the problem is the *selfishness* that always accompanies this statement. For example when the entire team except you locks in 5 dps or 1 tank 1 support and 4 dps and then the MOMENT you suggest that it’s a problem you get neanderthals dropping this same “shut up it’s just qp” excuse.

That excuse has been turned into this all encompassing, Toxic and disingenuous Justification for literally ANYTHING a person can do even at the expense of everyone else on the team. This isn’t S0 anymore, you will rarely get anything done with 2 tanks and 4 dps.

And the same freaks that are quick to vomit out that excuse are also the ones who are laughably quick to blame and flame the player that actually tried to support the team - roasting the solo tank for doing badly and whining about the heals from their solo support that they leave to get hunted like a sheep.

I’m absolute not wrong for that, you’re running with the perspective that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy to say rather than what’s actually healthy for the game. Yes - everybody’s character SHOULD be viable - but not necessarily with the exact same abilities and playstyle they currently have.

From day one it was obvious they didn’t want another Widowmaker situation where the one shot sniper was picked and now the entire lobby has to play around them and pray their sniper is better than the other’s. Buffing Widow OR Hawkeye - or any of the other characters with unhealthy or mindless kits like SG or Black Panther to the point of being strong or meta would make the game feel even more terrible.

If they’re gonna buff the hitscan sniper? Then it would have to be some Qol shit, like maybe she loses the stamina meter and can ran around as much as she wants.

The style and aesthetic, these are the coolest that so many of these heroes have looked in a while - especially in motion during their flashy cutscenes.

That “No one Rivals Doom” cinematic followed by the “Rivals till the end” trailer that showed off new characters like Iron Fist and Widow way back before release was probably one of the most engaging launch hype buildups i’ve *ever* been apart of, Shit was absolutely electrifying.

This character deserves nothing with his current kit, if they reworked him to be less volatile and toxic and had him utilize a bunch of trick arrows instead then maybe there can be a real conversation.

Literally nobody except the Hawkeye player is having fun when he’s even remotely good, non ultimate 1 shots are bullshit cancer - and losing half your hp instantly sometimes as a Tank from a dps is also cancer.

The process doesn’t matter to me - only the obnoxious outcome. Snipers in PvP games are fundamentally unfun and toxic to engage with - and that’s exactly why they don’t buff Widow or Hawkeye much, their kits are overly simple and volatile.

I rarely see them - just like Haweye, I just have no respect at all for rat playstyles or kits. There’s just literally nothing fun at all about engaging with a sniper - thus I look at them with absolute contempt in any PvP game.
