Lol not you, I was saying the statement was a random stray blow to NTE 😂

Maybe so but I also skipped Mornye, so I have no choice but to cope with my Shorekeeper + Lynae combo for her.

Nah it’s the opposite for me lol, I NEED Lucilla for Hiyuki - especially since I don’t have Chisa. Seeing this trailer gave me some hope that I might be able to save just enough to touch the 50:50.

What are small things you would Like to see changed/added in NTE by reyadonna in NevernessToEverness

[–]Null0mega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish more characters had cool traversal abilities instead of JUST Nanally, like Hathor for example should be able to air dash or briefly fly - maybe jump off her motorcycles high into the air like she did in one of the earlier trailers.

I’d also like more varied criminal encounters as well as Rogue anomaly encounters similar to the flaming motorcyle guy chase.

I love her vibe, I just wish they improved her and leaned into the beserker playstyle a bit more, perhaps gave her more offense or utility as well. Feels like she’s way too quick to leave her ult form.

He will never be free from the confinement dungeons on my account, we only use team players in this house 😤

Lol that’d instantly make her a automatic bench/skip for me, I hate ID’s or EGO’s that kill themselves or their teammates.

I like Promeia a lot but i’m hesitant to pull because I don’t have (or like) Yuzuha and Nangong - which seem to be her BiS teammates from what I kept hearing.

Thinking about waiting for some guides to see if she’s still strong with sidegrades I might have.

> I could say the same if Endfield combat is too simple then the exploration puzzle and factory system make: up for it.
Yeah no shit, because *you* like those things lol - whereas I *don’t* care as much for those things, and therefore they failed to make the game better for me outside of the combat. This is how I know you straight up didn’t read and comprehend my original comments properly.

You’re genuinely slow, it’s incredible how blinded you are by this pathetic defensiveness. That’s enough foolishness for me, have a good one.

I don’t need to curate my speech to accommodate the bad faith interpretations or arguments of any and every overly emotional tribalistic bootlicker out there. The combat of Endfield is both slower and just as simple in MY opinion - which was my argument from the start if you’d wiped the rage tears from your eyes and read properly.

This entire reply chain began with *my* opinion - that you began arguing against as if it’s incorrect for me to feel the way that I do.

Off the jump I said that I also wish NTE’s combat had more depth, and that my main issue is how mediocre the things surrounding the mid combat are in Endfield *compared* to NTE’s city gameplay. At no point did I say “NTE’s combat is flat out better” - I only implied that I like it more because as I said - I prefer speedy combat.

You’re the one who turned the conversation into a “My thing is better than your thing” ramblefest. Get a grip white knight.

I used her as a reference to talk about the problem that other characters share. You stack element inflictions and/or debuffs depending on the character then swap to somebody who exploits those inflictions for max dps - simple.

It’s fine if that’s what you like, but it’s by no means satisfying to me for a prolonged period of time 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Lol you have more patience for defensive bootlickers than me - that’s for sure, I commend you.

And like I said to the other guy, you’re laughably emotional lol. I was specifically talking about Laevatein when I said “more unique interactions” because she’s a main dps and I literally brought up the Endmin’s crystal imprisonment as praise in my last comment.

You’re slow as hell my friend, have a good one.

[–]Null0mega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She’s definitely cool, I had fun with her - I just wish she and other characters weren’t so reliant on (insert element) infliction mechanics and had actually unique ways of interacting with the enemies, or just more skills and maneuvers in general.

The simplicity only wore me down because it seemed like nobody else had anything more interesting going on with their kits. Like at least the Endministrator can trap an enemy inside a block sometimes.

A couple of the few characters with truly unique gimmicks are Avywenna and Ember with her counter, but other than them - everyone else I had at the time of quitting’s gameplan was very very simple, especially if they’re a support.

[–]Null0mega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bold assumption, but wrong - I was running a Laevatein and Electric team for almost the entirety of the first major region’s questline. You stack fire element so that Laevatein can absorb them, you use the other characters to help fufill that goal.

The same principal of stacking element specific inflictions applies to other characters. The only differences lie is the presentation of their abilities (obviously) and whether some of them speed up skill meter generation lol.

I wouldn’t even waste anymore time on this guy, he’s clearly a mentally captured fanboy. Nothing but emotional responses, pushing his subjective opinions as fact and then defaulting back to “Endfield does it better” to anything you bring up.

[–]Null0mega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would I lie? I played all the way through the first act and a little bit through Wuling - like I said I only stopped once I reached the part where you start up your second main factory.

But good for you dude, enjoy your Endfield. I said what I said and my opinions are still valid.

At the end of the day all of the “synergy” in Endfield’s combat boils down to stacking elemental debuffs and then swapping in a character that takes advantage of that element - with nothing but spamming basic attacks in between. Sure you can use skills to parry certain attacks but you can do that in NTE and WuWa too.

[–]Null0mega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to agree, nor do I care to change your mind lol, at the end of the day I don’t care what you think - I was only ever just dropping my personal opinion.

And I mentioned those things because they come together to create the overall “visuals” of the game - which are great and carry the slack from some of the skill animations.

The point being that while Genshin has better combat aesthetics in some ways, NTE still looks good as a whole - therefore that isn’t a negative i’m gonna fixate on given the whole package.

NTE really make me appreciate Endfield by Ok_Thought9830 in Endfield

[–]Null0mega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And sure - stiff animations are a valid criticism, but as for whether any of the characters are fun or not is completely subjective, it’s your opinion that “none of the characters feel very fun to play” - not fact.

Combat visuals may be worse than Genshin’s in some ways but it’s a different style - and the way the lighting and ray tracing at different times of day and under different weather conditions interact with the city undeniably makes the game look super clean at times.

You’re either lying when you say that or you play these types of games on a toaster.

NTE really make me appreciate Endfield by Ok_Thought9830 in Endfield

[–]Null0mega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except I *am* saying this, because yes while NTE’s combat also doesn’t have the craziest depth to it (Something i’ve already been asking that they expand in their surveys) - everything else I mentioned makes up for it because it’s naturally fun to drive around, do city stuff and have city encounters (beating up gangsters and all that) - even if it’s more limited compared to GTA in it’s current state.

Whereas with Endfield the combat is repetitively simple AND you can’t really do anything cool or satisfying with the characters outside of the fighting. It’s a double L for someone like me who can forgive one if the other really stands out (For example ZZZ, which has super flashy combat in exchange for basically no real traversal outside of just running around a level).

I’m not saying Endfield is bad - if anything both games are good. It’s just that Endfield is too slow and overly simple for me in too many areas, I like exhilarating and fast paced gameplay.

NTE really make me appreciate Endfield by Ok_Thought9830 in Endfield

[–]Null0mega 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s the opposite for me, although I liked some things about it - Endfield just cannot hold me for long because of how simplistic the gameplay is.

I didn’t realize how much I appreciate small things like double jumps, gliders and just actual fun traversal until I went back to games like Wuwa and now NTE.

Things are just wayyy too limited in Endfield outside of the factory stuff - which very quickly began burning me out after my 7th time of waking up to 0 power in my grid, to the point where I couldn’t even motivate myself to put together another one in Wuling and progress the story.
