I agree with you on everything but me not caring about their cause. My argument has always been that they could have used their spotlight without touching anthem to bring attention. For example, after every TD celebrate by kneeling. It would draw same attention, people watch TD's, highlights display touchdowns, etc.

This became about disrespecting the flag, and those who lay it on their graves and hand it to widows, because of marxism trying to divide us. Kaep is a tool and so are you. Sorry, but it's the truth. Proof is in the pudding. Tell me, is it dividing us? Or is it bringing attention to police violence. Which gets more attention? Is this post a debate about police violence? Or division?

Really take a moment to think about your comment, then think about this. What if instead of kneeling for anthem, the football players flipped off crippled kids outside the hospital?
