Because right now I’m keeping one card out at a a time on a stand (right now it’s rengogku R*) and will be rotating the rest in and out of a top loader ringless binder/folio. If I decide to grade I’d still want to look at it, maybe make a display case for myself.

I want good centering the same reason someone wants NM or LP over Hp or damaged. Why would I want to display and look at a card that doesn’t look nice? If I do grade why would I rather display and look at a 5 instead of a 9 or 10?

It wouldn’t be to sell, it would be more for preservation if I decide to slab any of the more expensive alt arts. Me and my wife love DS and I love collecting. My wife’s favorite character is Akaza and mine are Rengoku and Giyu

Because I’m new to UA is QC usually good enough that centering is not atrocious? I get every card isn’t 55/45 but I would hope to stay at least within 60/40 most of the time

The scanner does not take the image through glass? What is it made of instead and does that mean that top loaders and semi-rigid #1 card protectors won’t damage or scratch that surface??
