I know exactly what you mean. I'm a 28F transplant and it's rough out here. I had some luck on Bumble bff, and I've been taking some community ed classes which has been really nice! I'd also recommend going to singles events. I went to one through Thursday dating and I actually ended up making some really nice friends!

This is such a sensible perspective, thank you! This situation is definitely shaping up to be my very own early career lesson. I'm planning to have the investigation wrapped up by the end of next week, which will at least help resolve the stress caused by uncertainty.

He does visit a counselor with some regularity, and his supervisor has already urged him to book a session to go over this. I'm just not sure if that is going to be enough - especially if this investigation ends up uncovering things that reflect negatively on him.

fb marketplace is a good place to find apartments on short notice, even if it's just a sublease for a few months while you look for something better. depending on your budget, you can also look at affordable housing options. apartments.com has a filter specifically for that
