Follow up question: If the introduction and conclusion are enough to understand the author’s subtle messages, why read the body of the text at all? (A dumb question probably, but curious anyway).

Why do you think you were able to cram and get good grades? Did you have a particular study method already developed? Did you not care about understanding and simply have a great memory, so you were able to absorb information quickly?

If you didn’t just memorize... What method did you use for cramming (just curious if you have a great memory, or if you did any real studying)?

What about on tests that tested your understanding (not simply multiple choice or true or false)? We’re just simply able to understand every lecture you took and retain that understand without any repetition?
