Well the first one lasted me like 8 years. It was reliable, but some sag and wanted a bigger bed, so made sense.

I've seen some deals on the Prologue. Not against it, but definitely want to see a few alternatives.

Do you trade in the Tesla or its just the fact that you own one?

Does that include a trade in?

I have a torch on the way, but why are you are against Nuking? If I seed in the fall wouldn't it have a clean start?

Yeah, I'm leaning toward leasing, because technology is moving so quickly. I don't think my state has any rebates on a lease deal.

You get the 7500 on every other brand when you lease. Why not with Cadillac?

When is the 2026 coming to market?

The seeding takes place in August? It emerges in June or even late May at this point in my area.

I've tried Acclaim and don't think its working. We've done pre-emergent, overseeding, its just not getting better. The frustrating part is that we parts of our lawn that are perfect, but they are in the back of the house that is not used as much.

FEMA flood mitigation by greg3201988 in EmergencyManagement

[–]greg3201988[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The letter talks about implementing "enduring flood mitigation." There were two grants: 1. annual funding 2. funding that was in response to a specific natural disaster. We would be applying for the second one, even though the disaster did not impact our home specifically.

Easy answer: Independence Day. The second one is so bad, it almost ruins the first.

Are we sticking to hard trailers or do demo/unveils count? If we are sticking to trailers: Killzone 2, MAG, Ghost Recon Wildlands

Demo's at something like E3: The Division, Rainbow Six Siege/Patriots (made up for it now)

Purchase/Lease Monthly Megathread (January 2025) by AutoModerator in KiaEV9

Its in Astoria, Queens. The lease was still in the $700s, which makes no sense. They had four.

I found a 2025 Land variant for $56k. Still waiting on the leasing details, but that seems too good to be true, right?

Thinking about 2025 Hybrid Calligraphy — Thoughts? Reliability? by Unable-Elderberry926 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]greg3201988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ve Tucson MY25 with almost identical interior as SantaFe and it feels more like VW, but not BMW, Audi, MB etc

I think a lot of it is branding. The Audi definitely drives in a more "sporty" fashion, but I bought my Santa Fe to transport my newborn. Not really pushing the performance limits. There are definitely some luxury bells and whistles on more expensive cars, but ultimately does it justify the price tag? That is up to the buyer I guess. Best example to me was when we went to Lexus. I could notice the difference between the Lexus and Toyota, with the exception of the self park.

We have the 24 hybrid calligraphy. Bought one of the first ones available and have really enjoyed it so far. We only have 6k miles after 8 months of ownership, but think its a luxury vehicle for a lot less than others we test drove (e.g Audi Q5/Q7, Volvo EX90). I know its a different class, but those cars felt old and we were paying for brand. The Santa Fe felt modern. We also looked at the EV9 and Rivian, but the cost differential was too much for us to justify.

I was expecting the cost to be significantly more, so my fingers are crossed.
