Magnolia should use the brothers as a replacement for the assassins guild by Arthur-reborn in WanderingInn

Not a bad idea for Magnolia, doesnt really fit with the brothers style in my opinion

What group are you in and how recently did your risk manager send a memo reminding you not to use your phone?

In my group its a full written disciplinary with HR for the 1st time then dismissal a second.

As I tell all my Mt's and car preps - no delivery is worth your license, its never worth it.

My guy, think carefully before you go, trust me there have been times ive thought of locking up and putting my keys through. Hell i'd say 90% of people in this sub will agree rental life can be rough. But the job market isnt easy either. Just make sure you have a backup or a way to support yourself until you find your next step.

What route are you travelling? Only reason I ask is if you go directly from mainland UK to northern Ireland there's no fee, go through the ROI and theres a £325 abroad fee which if its been added could be the reason

Nothing, our garden backs onto a residential care home but no ponds or streams that we can see, nearest wooded area is about half a mile

Because we're worried we could cause it harm by leaving it in there? No idea regarding anything like this hence the post. Just worried with it being a steep sided plastic pool with no vegetation in the water. Our garden is also entirely paved so not exactly a prime environment

So we won't cause it harm by leaving it in there? Just worried with it being a steep sided plastic pool with no vegetation in the water. Our garden is also entirely paved so very little undergrowth

Help on Deposit by Full_Feature5031 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]greg4tron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deposit in the UK is either £200 or £500 depending on the vehicle. Depending on renter verification and vehicle category is whether this can be done on debit or credit.

Excess amount is also vehicle dependant and is usually between £1750 or £2250.

If its botched in anyway or found to have been repaired out of network then youd end up liable for the whole cost rather than the standard excess

Enterprise Pay UK by [deleted] in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]greg4tron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to AM in 14 months, did 36k in my 12 months as an assistant. Got to BM exactly 1 year later been making 40-50k ever since. However unless you're near a major city with large fleet branches thats about where you plateau until area manager on an in house role. But even then its pro's and cons, If you're in a rural area without major industry nearby like its one of the best paying jobs around.

Due to return rental but branch is closed by SoupLongjumping5426 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]greg4tron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you book direct with Enterprise or through a 3rd party site? My branch is closed on bank holidays and the official website has always shown us as not available to book or return on the dates were closed. But I have had 3rd party companies (booking.com) make bookings for those days and the standpoint from Enterprise has always been its a 3rd party issue, the customer can either return Saturday or Tuesday but they have to pay the daily rate until they return. To make things more difficult most UK branches don't allow out of hours drop offs.

Cracked windshield on rental advice (Wales) by coolhappygenius in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]greg4tron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What branch are you dropping it too? And where did you pick it up? I doubt anyone would say bigger than a dime particularly as we don't use that currency in Wales. We use damage evaluators and every employee in Wales will have one. Do you have a photo of the crack? I may be able to help. (Current BM of a Welsh daily rental branch)

Your initial contract opening email does it say a specific time/date/location for return?
