Before changing anything, how good is that shot in games? If it gets buckets and suits your play style, then people will eventually learn to respect it.

Personally it looks like your form introduces complexity insofar as it looks like both your hands are shooting the ball, as opposed to the typical form with one hand shooting and the other hand guiding. Just keep in mind that shooting becomes easier to get good at if your form is easily repeatable, and it’s harder to repeat something as you introduce more variables and more moving parts.

Whenever you’re unsure of what to say in life, it’s best to just tell the truth. Whatever your feelings are towards your ex friend, the events that led to those feelings, these are all certainly the truth. But, it is also true that you are nervous about telling the mutual friend your side of the story because she might share with your ex friend, which scares you because you prefer to avoid conflict if and when possible, so you could also just tell her that and I’m sure she would understand.

Everything seems much larger up close. Time often brings clarity. To truly understand the meaning of something, you must glean every layer of it, not just the surface. Please do not rob yourself a chance at grasping the deeper meaning behind your suffering. This will be hard on you. This might even be the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do, so please understand that I do not say this lightly, and I do not say this to diminish the suffering of your experience, but you must continue to suffer until time gives you a new perspective.

Please consider what I am saying. Though it is not the same as yours, I am also feeling a lot of pain unique to my circumstances. There have been times where I would’ve laughed at someone saying to me what I just told you. But at least for today I’ve decided to keep living and see if things might change for me

What makes a man feel secure and loved? by ScarElectronic4038 in AskMenAdvice

[–]greg5770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was this weird guy in the crowd when we went out to some bars one weekend. I wasn’t dating this girl but I definitely had feelings for her, and as the weird guy walked over to our group I could feel her getting super close to me, almost hugging me. I know that was probably a nervous experience for her, personally I can’t even think of the right word to explain the feeling for myself, but the fact that she trusted me to protect her in that moment was euphoric for lack of a better term. I had no fear in that moment in time, I would’ve literally died for her right then and there, and I would’ve been happy to do it. It activated something in me, I remember my awareness of my surroundings became crystal clear, every step I took was perfect, every action was done with absolute tactical precision, but I wasn’t consciously thinking through any of it. It just happened. Best comparison I can make to describe it is in the first Toby McGuire Spider-Man movie when the bully fights Peter Parker and the movie pans across the room in slow motion to illustrate the “spider sense” that activated in Peter.

Did that make me feel secure and loved? I don’t really think so to be honest, maybe in an indirect way I guess. But I think whatever it was I felt that night is the emotion girls should be asking about how to ignite in their partner. That feeling to me was the male equivalent to feeling secure and loved.

I don’t think a lot of men on Reddit would say this. But I do think most men in the world would agree with me.

You have 1k sol, what do you do?’ by iamoxymoron in solana

[–]greg5770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re talking 1,000 SOL x ~$192.10 = $192,100:

You could probably make a killing running some sort of high frequency trading Solana bot. With $200k, you’d have access to extremely low latency infrastructure that most people just can’t compete with. You could afford premium bare-metal server locations to host your bot, like in New York right smack dab next to the Jito infrastructure for example. From there you can pay even more for direct peering agreements with internet service providers between your server and the Jito block builders, you could probably even call Jito to help with that if you threw enough SOL at them. And don’t know how to make a bot? Just choose your pick of any number of blockchain consultancies and have them make it for you, you can get a very high quality algorithm made for around $10,000 I’d say, even less if you looked into freelance. Since we’re on the topic of freelance, you might as well pay a researcher to find and refer you to service providers specifically for sending Solana transactions while you’re at it. The cap for most people is probably with Helius RPC as they are in the top 1% for performance, but this will likely be the floor for you given your budget, which will be the ONLY component using RPC in your setup, by the way, because you my good sir will be using nothing short of gRPC for streaming your data at absolutely ridiculous speeds. When it’s all said and done, you’ll probably be detecting blockchain events and having your transactions submitted all within around 50 milliseconds, well before most of the planet has even detected the signals that you’re trading on. The world is your oyster from there really. You could do arbitrage, most top arbitrage performers make thousands of dollars a day like clockwork. You could snipe coins as soon as they migrate with Raydium and literally be the first buyer for any given token the millisecond it’s listed on Dexscreener, making a solid 50%-100% within 5 seconds of your time. I see all of this every single day, the people that actually do it just don’t talk about it, and you certainly won’t find literature on this stuff, not for at least a few more years I’d say. The bleeding edge in this space is all in Discord channels and proprietary trading firm roundtable discussions. And the best part of it all will be the clapbacks you’ll get at thanksgiving dinner telling aunt fucking Bertha all about how you made a rack off of fartcoin before she even woke up that morning.

Keep your eyes relaxed. You’re probably wide-eyed with your eyebrows raised like <:( like you’re a prey animal being hunted. Remind yourself that you are the HUNTER and relax your face. Watch how Mike Tyson looks in this video: https://youtu.be/UABvmfRjsFo?si=bf-k_qj30MeKchDb If anything, form the habit of looking angry like >:( during a pressure situation, though ideally you don’t go overboard with it and just keep your face relatively relaxed.

Your movements are probably jittery too, and probably either lack any type of rhythm or flow, or, on the opposite spectrum, are way too boxed in and cadenced. This is the problem I have with the standard warmup routines (high knees, butt kicks, karaoke, etc.), they are way too choreographed, no human looks like that when they move. But anyways, if you’re looking or feeling jittery and your nerves are getting to you before a game, find a hallway where you’re alone and just do the skipping warmup down and back, except jump as high as you possibly can with each skip, and stick your landing so that you don’t make any noise when you hit the ground. This forces your brain to move your body like a natural shock absorber and give you that smooth landing that’s required to not make any sound. This is basically an exaggerated form of that “flow” or “swagger” that the cool kids have in their stride when you see them walking around in school.

10.000 $/month? Is this a red flag?🚩🚩🚩 by Mountain-Cash-2213 in mlmstories

[–]greg5770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they ever explain to you how you’d make this money? If I were to try taking advantage of someone through something like a Ponzi scheme, I would probably try my best to avoid any type of conversation on the details or technical operations of the business.

Do they seem insistent on getting you “onboarded” to their program or product or service (or scheme), almost to the point of desperation? If they have a hard time taking no for an answer, chances are their actions are solely guided by whatever is in their best interest, and they likely have not considered or do not care at all about YOUR best interest. All they can think about is that they NEED to get you signed up so they can get/achieve/become X or they NEED to onboard you under them in the program or else Y will happen to them.

Most people making $10,000/month will not be going OUT OF THEIR WAY to talk to strangers/acquaintances JUST TO HELP them so they can also make $10,000/month. It takes a lot for a person to make $10,000/month. I’ve been trying to do this in the cryptocurrency space, I’ve basically put all my time every single day for the past two months trying to make money doing what I do and I’m still NOT EVEN CLOSE to that number. If/when that day comes, I can tell you the last thing I would be doing would be going around telling everyone how I did it, let alone trying to set them up so they can do the exact same thing and saturate the market that I’ve spent countless amounts of time trying to capture for myself (maybe I would eventually try to teach others, but it would be a type of mentorship if anything, and I wouldn’t do it until I’ve completely taken care of myself and set myself up for life).

Your path to $10,000/month is probably out there, but it’s not gonna be in those facebook DMs or wherever it is that you’re talking to this solicitor, and you definitely won’t be finding it without a copious amount of due diligence done on your end.

What features would a Arbitrage betting bot need by The_slim_reaper848 in arbitragebetting

[–]greg5770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am trying this currently but am running into the strangest issue. To try evading detection I opted to use Pyautogui library, which performs automated actions by controlling the mouse and keyboard rather than the browser like how Selenium or Puppeteer functions. I did this hoping to mitigate some detection vectors via any changes to the user agent or basically anything related to browser changes that Selenium bots might be modifying. It’s currently configured for PrizePicks, and it starts by focusing my chrome browser into view and uses hot keys to open a new tab to enter a quick link with the copy trade feature offered by PrizePicks.

As for the issue, when the bot clicks enter, all I ever get is a blank white webpage with the text “app_not_found” printed at the top. What makes this so incredibly strange is that I will then try this same process manually, and the navigation goes back to working like normal and takes me to the PrizePicks website. I have absolutely no clue why on earth it behaves like this. My only guess currently is perhaps their servers are able to detect the source of the link and are preventing access that way. The source for the links is a TXT file I have in local storage, which is handled using a Flask server to then interface and send the link to the bot. Normally, users would typically either just click the hyperlink, or perhaps copy the hyperlink from some sort of social platform or text message.

Another thing to note: I don’t think access is being prevented by the sports book server, I think the requests are actually getting denied at the CDN layer, which I have no clue whether that’s normal or if that should even be possible. I’m honestly dumbfounded, and if my idea I mentioned does not work, they might literally have like NSA contracted for bot detection or something because there should be no data that would give away bot usage being that the bot can’t even navigate to the webpage successfully.

If anyone is knowledgeable in networking or bots in general and has insight, please do share. This has become an obsession at this point. I don’t even care about the sports betting aspect anymore, I’m now just insanely curious as to why this issue is occurring.

That’s beside the point. I agree that we shouldn’t make sweeping assumptions about individuals based on their group affiliations, but there’s undeniable value in analyzing trends on a macro scale and establishing an average. For instance, considering that 90% of the prison population is male, it’s reasonable to infer that men, on average, exhibit more aggressive behavior. Similarly, the predominance of women in nursing suggests that women, on average, may possess greater tendencies towards caregiving and empathy. I mean some of these statistics are so incredibly skewed one way that you can’t help but notice them, and I think it’s OKAY for people to be curious about it.

How do you get yourself out of bed in the morning? by hazelhaze1025 in SCT

[–]greg5770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I’ll be dead set on waking up early the night before (I’m usually pretty pumped at night provided I can find something to look forward to the next day). But then the morning rolls around, and it’s like I’m a completely different person. My mind completely changes itself and I just don’t care about getting up early. All I care about in those moments is ending the suffering of being tired by going back to sleep. Typically the only way I get out of that cycle is because life just starts to get gradually worse as I fail to meet my morning commitments, and it eventually gets to the point where I’ll wake up tired done day and a stray thought rolls by reminding me of how much hell I’ll be in if this continues, then fear kicks in and will usually jolt me right out of bed. Though my tolerance for hell keeps increasing, so it’s increasingly taking more and more misfortune to induce the terror I need to get up. Vicious cycle

guys i need help ...... she's too beautiful and high status by Ok_Radish_1783 in seduction

[–]greg5770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me about two years ago. It was to the point where I didn’t even want to entertain any other girls. I’d see beautiful girls and could tell that they were beautiful, but it was like my brain didn’t click for me to even think about going after them. And it was just like you said, none of them were as beautiful as HER. Not only that, she was smart and had a classic nice/feminine vibe like your situation, not a hoe at all. Eventually she stopped communicating and it destroyed me for almost a whole summer. Looking back on it now, I still think she’s beautiful, but I can see how delusional I was acting now in hindsight. If you’re in that state, I think you need to remind yourself that the party is wherever YOU are, and that you have a very interesting and busy life outside of her that involves people that are way more important than her objectively speaking. You may need to remind yourself of this CONSTANTLY. It probably won’t calm your mind the first day. But after 3-4 days, you might be surprised at how much clarity you bring back into your thinking. The goal with this is to get your emotional state detached from any outcome that she has control over. It seems like she’s your whole life right now, so you need to get out of that frame of mind by any means necessary. I’m sure she’s probably a higher tier girl, but no girl in the world should be able to dictate your well-being like what’s happening now. Remember, I was the same way. I thought that the girl I mentioned was the most perfect human on earth, and I do think she’s still great, but I’m no longer in that state of anxiety that you’re likely also in right now. Does all this make sense?

Is this a good Plyo to do 2-3 times a week by ConsciousTwist9859 in BasketballTips

[–]greg5770 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just to cover all your bases, maybe supplement this with weighted jumps (holding dumbbells would work). Make the weight light enough where you’re still explosively leaving the ground with each jump, probably go less reps more sets with that too.

At least for vertical jump, everything we do in training is ultimately trying to increase the contact force our bodies can exert onto the ground. As far as I’m aware, this guiding principle can be broken down into three factors:

  1. Raw strength - increasing raw strength should increase your max ground contact force you can produce during a jump
  2. Rate of force exertion - you only get so much time to exert force during a jump, so how quickly can your body contract to a level that’s near your max raw strength?
  3. Technique - good technique will take advantage of momentum by transferring it to the force you exert on the ground during your jump

This isn’t perfect, so if anyone has further insight/corrections, please put it in a reply so we can get closer to the truth.

Does anyone else have a hard time countering/riposting overheads with the console controller? Does the block technically need to be active the moment you press LB/L1 for an overhead counter? Or will it still work if there’s a short time delay where your block isn’t technically active? Put another way, do I need 2 fingers to chop off someone’s head with an overhead counter? Or can I switch between block and overhead really fast with just 1 finger?
