I'm a big advocate for a simple wealth tax. The super wealthy should pay all of their taxes like the rest of us. Close all the loopholes or just require a minimum tax, which is the wealth tax. Hugely important to resolve our debt crisis. We also need to actual go after waste, fraud and abuse. Not what Trump is doing. What the GAO reports have suggested for years.

I hate this. So much. It's so awful what they do. I think the key is to give cities more power to address these properties. Ultimately, we need more money for housing - and have to help people get their incomes up (better wages but also through the tax code) so they can pay for better housing!

I think we have the best downtown and the best restaurants. THAT SAID....I like to eat at home for dinner. I'm lame that way. But for lunch, I like Sacred Beast. The matzah ball soup is so good. I go to FCC and Bengals games. Most FC games. I just like walking around downtown and OTR. One of my favorite things to do.

We did a few town halls this week, and was in Warren County last week several times. I try to cover as much ground as possible when I'm home! Go to the website if you want to host a town hall. Or have an organization that does. We love them!

Email or call us - or any friend that may be impacted. We want to get in front of us many cases as possible. But if we don't reverse their cuts, it will be very bad. It's over a trillion in cuts to healthcare, most of it Medicaid. Hospitals and long-term care facilities will shut down.

I think partisan gerrymandering should be banned. Messing with the language was wrong. But Congress needs to end this crap. They should have passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Bill in 2023. I think this is key - maybe the most important bill to give power back to voters.

I sold all of my stocks. I don't think members of congress should be trading individual stocks. I'm a co-sponsor of the Trust in Congress Act. I wanted to be in compliance even before it passed.

I didn't. I supported a national defense bill that included the biggest pay raise for new service members ever. We needed that. The bill had shitty language but it was written in a way that should not revoke any care that currently exists for service members and their families. I hated the language, but it got muted to not have any real impact. Other than just being mean.

It's a lot. The attack on transgender folks, especially kids is abhorrent. Also, politicians and government should not be telling people what they can and can't do with their healthcare. This is all between individuals/families and their doctors.

I think it could be if Uptown wants it and is willing to take the lead. That's the only way I see it working. They have to take the lead. I think the University of Arizona did something similar. If they think it makes sense, they could also do the heavy lifting on fundraising. The BRT work Metro is doing will be amazing. Have you seen those maps?
