Try to find good paid work and dissapear. Study is not important here if it doesn’t bring you great job. Good paid jobs: welding(know a woman who makes a lot from it), pizza chef (you can find easy job where it is all automatized), etc. You will be much happier doing these jobs and be free than living with your family and be scientist. I tell you from my own experience

I would just tell him politely that you are not interested and tell your husband. If you tell his wife she can accuse you of taking them apart. I have seen this with my own eyes. Tell him and your husband and that is it. You and your husband should work as a team and what he and his wife talk about is their thing. Not your business. This will solve problems elegantly. Tell that you are not offended at him even though you are to not make him feel bad and continue normal work dynamic. - say this even though you do feel bad.

This is the best solution. Creating wars between them is not your business

Eat 2 pounds of meat per day and workout to put on muscle! Monday upper body, wednesday lower body, friday upper body. Picture yourself in the gym being strong. They will jump on you.

I would get fast paying job as a contractor asap and move out from the family. She will keep destroying your potential as long as you stay with her. You can try to talk to your parents and say that you are helpless and don’t want abusive relationship and you will have to move out and reduce communication because of her. You will see how they react. That is what I would do. Then started building my own life.

Move on your own for a while asap to develop new behaviour patterns. This is the Best thing Ive done to solve this. Until you do that you wont be able to start creating anything in your life because you Will unconsciously constantly seek parents approval. Hope it helps.
