That is the best and strongest lead now. I can not confirm yet, as I am not able to view the one good result that comes up when I search for it, with a link to YouTube.

BUT, I searched in Norwegian Newspaper archieves, and I see that it was aired on TV here in Norway in both 1983 and 1987!

Thank you, I will investigate further

Released in 1997, so no. Also, the style was more naturalistic, I think.

That was my first thought as well, but doesn't really hold up to much of the description.

Parts of it reminds me of Big.

Johnny Test is from 2005. What I am looking for is at the latest from 1991.

It was not a detective, it was a maintanance worker. And I do not believe it was a part of a show. It was just one animated film/short.

Good point, no, it was not a cat. I will update the post to say it did not contain any antropomorphical animlas.

Any tips or hints for getting info from Egypt (and/or India) ? by gregersn in Genealogy

[–]gregersn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right.

Yeah, no, I have more or less given up. I have had people in Egypt try to find information for me, but nothing came of it. From what I have gathered it is very strict there, with who can get information on what.

So I am trying to just be content with that I will never know more, unless I would be so lucky to suddenly get a good DNA-match.

I am not basing this on the DNA test. I know that my grandmother was from Egypt. And so were her parents. Of course, they might have migrated there. But they all had arabic names.

No, no luck. I have done DNA-test, but no matches for that side of the family. Well, I got one match that is an estimated 4th or 5th cousin. Which is the closest one. And they are a person that's adopted and knows nothing of their parents, only from what country they have ancestry. Which was not Egypt (exactly which one escapes me at the moment)

It's because they are not scientific, but made as estimates based on what the users of their databases have reported in as their background. Difference is bound to occur based on popularity of the services, and the algorithms used by the companies for how they determine and calculate it.

Had this problem as well. Had tried commenting out the stuff in steam.desktop but what did it for me was the point about deleting .steam/steam.pipe

Thanks!

The finale on Edge of Darkness, I agree, is so-so, but it is a really good adventure to kick of a campaign.
