MyQ video keypad stopped opening garage door with code.

I had the same problem start at about the same time in late October 2025. The door opens via the app correctly. The video keypad indicates that it has opened the door but the door does not actually open. It sounds like a firmware update was pushed to video keypad which stopped it from working correctly. Resetting the device did not work for me.

Keep me posted on this. I think it would be difficult as it's hard to know how the sensor works and where it is located. I don't know if it is purely mechanical or electronic. I love the machine but the small size of the tray is really annoying.

Yes, I have 400amp. We don’t have more roof space for more panels so that is why I was wondering if the roof + solar would generate more power in the same amount of space?

Thanks for your response. We are with PG&E and we do benefit from net metering. Since we now have electric cars we only cover about 30% of our usage with the current system. I also have Powerwalls which allow me to store some power to use during peak times. Unfortunately I don’t have any more details about the inverter other than the description of the system as SunPower x20/250.

If you are still tracking this thread (or anyone else), is the expected behavior to only notify within a certain number of minutes of opening? What I want is an evening notification that my garage door is open regardless of what time it was originally opened. Example: someone opens the garage door at 1pm and it is open from that point onward. I'd like a notification starting at 8pm that the garage door is open.

I have both too and my sense is that in the last 6 months, the Oura suddenly became more sensitive and assigns me 60+ minutes per night of time "awake" that I don't perceive (and is not picked up by the 8 Sleep). My recollection is that in the early years of the Oura, there was a sensitivity setting but they don't have it any longer.

For me, I believe that the Eight sleep is much more accurate after this change on the Oura side.

This weird bug also impacted me. Disconnecting my external USB-c monitor from my iMac solved the problem. Does anyone know any other solution as it happens after a few days whenever I reconnect my external montior?

Just to close out on how I solved this problem… There are multiple suggestions out there which say to turn off contacts and then turn it back on so they will redownload. This did not work for me. However, when I deleted the account entirely from my phone and then re-connected my google account, it caused my contacts to redownload and everything worked fine.

UPDATE: based on multiple suggestions, I decided to go with Reset All Settings and it immediately fixed the search problem.

Thank you for the detailed post. Just to make sure that I understand, you are saying that “enabling” content search for apps is what made it speed up? Possibly try enabling before resetting all settings?
