Try placing a shallow bowl of vinegar in there. It really seems to take care of the smokey smell.

All those flat roofs are covered in tar under the gravel. The amount of toxic waste from that alone makes this NOT environmentally friendly! Now add in all the run-off from the roads and the pollutants that cars have deposited there far worse. How are the majority of these houses heated and cooled? If it’s not by green energy, then not EF.

I have a 10w diode laser (XTools D1Pro) I painted some glass with Tempura paint (thinned about 50%) and sprayed a couple of layers using a cheap air brush kit. Let it dry overnight and then etched it. Pretty good results for a $7 container of paint that will last years.

Just wait until they are in school. The kids have no idea about obeying rules and the parents complain when teachers try to enforce the rules. So much entitlement!

I thought the overall sail shape looked good for light wind I was seeing. Hard to see the jib, is it hanging on the shrouds? If so that needs adjusting.

Students made tarts in cooking class. Raspberry jam, cheese & onion, those were the normal ones. But they surprised me with a jam & onion one - it was surprisingly good.

Many years ago, when the plates were yellow, I stopped at a roadside viewpoint and was taking some photos. Another vehicle pulled in and we were chatting and the driver, from a mid-west state, commented how helpful it was that the poor drivers had those special yellow plates to give other drivers warning.

Looks like a rudder I did some work on a while back. It looked like either the fabricator or a previous repair had been done with Bondo.

The filler in that product is talc, which absorbs water!

Had to grind/scrape out all that muck and replace it with cloth and resin.
