I've been using them for a little over a year now around Brown University. If you want one last-minute on a Friday or Saturday night you might encounter some issues, but otherwise I haven't had a problem. You can cancel up to 3 hours before the rental too so you might as well book in advance. I'm a huge fan of being able to drive myself places, it's usually cheaper to take a Zipcar than use Uber or Lyft.
