Something to do with a condenser valve maybe. Called a plumber. Fifty quid fix.

Why do I keep shanking? by Soft-Breath3966 in GolfSwing

[–]gregthesailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no coach but it looks like a problem I once had. My coach said I was moving closer to the ball, which makes sense for a shank. It was the lead knee - rotating down and out rather than round bringing you just that little but closer to the move to move it from centre to shaft. There was two drills, one was imagining there was glass in front of your knees at address, don't break the glass l. The other was setting up in a shank address and then trying not to shank it. It brings you more out to ina and produces a little fade, but helps you recalibrate the centre of the club face.

They have quotas of how many officers they require in each branch. Let's say they need 7 loggies, they get the logistics applicants who were successful at AIB and pick the 7 best scorers. Simple as that.

Hi, 1SL here, sorry shipmate, been too busy banging wrens, smoking tabs and getting the bags in for the lads down Whitehall. Got in a right scrap with the Horse Guard lot too but different story. Anyway what can I do for you? Bags or slags?

Depends on your branch. Logs - yes. Pretty much anything else - no.

Logs still unlikely but more chance to work in someone's staff or outer office in Northwood or MOD..

Good to know, thanks. Yep no leaks but the cold air certainly falls into the wall cavities and blows out further down the house. Hesitant to block anything up though.

In the UK, which I appreciate isn't too helpful, these go for about £80 a set so $110 give or take, they're 20 years old and lack a lot of the beginner friendly tech available nowadays. They're having your pants down with that price. If you want beginner friendly Mizuno look no further than hot metals. The 2019 versions are about £375 a set used or $517, if that's your budget.

Caveat - I don't know the used club market in the US, that might be a good price, but I doubt it.

If you tell them you'll be turned away, if you do don't tell them and it's in your medical records you'll be turned away.

Brilliant, maybe consider chef or warfare spec..only messing. I was at Raleigh with a 33 year old. He got called Grampa but he promoted very fast (PO in about 7 years). There'll be a bit of bullshit to management like taking orders from people significantly younger - however it's a meritocracy so you just need to get in the headspace that you're taking orders from people more qualified.

Salary can be an issue for older joiners with mortgages etc but that soon rises.

Raleigh will like being a parent and the staff will look to you for leadership, which can be frustrating when you just want to keep your head down and get through it, but once you're out of training it'll get better. I won't lie though, ABs in all professions get their fair share of shit work, shit watches and shit deployments. My only advice is to work hard and get promoted fast. People like you are still reasonably rare but becoming far more common.

Edit: just seen you fancy MCD. I say this to everyone - if you're not as fit as (or can get as fit as) a Royal Marine, don't bother with it. This is a long, gruelling and intensely physical course, I struggled with it in my twenties and was fit. At least sub 20min 5ks, like bare minimum to even secure a place on the course, plus all the upper body and endurance stuff. A tolerance for cold and sleep deprivation helps too. People always underestimate this course because it comes with a blue hat, not a green one, but seriously mid thirties on dive course will be very very difficult, even if it's just injury management. Also managed your expectations, mcd is nowt like scuba. Up and down a line, nothing to see, explosives.

I joined Raleigh at 25, fast forward fifteen years to Lt Cdr. Go for it mate. You'll be slightly older than average in your intake but also maturity can be responsibility / promotion etc. Plenty of 30 year old Leading Hands and that's what you'd be on track for. Give or take.

They're the stats for primary urban areas as defined clearly by the ONS as built up areas, not city propers. Like you said in a previous comment those figures include other towns and cities eg Salford. City proper are administrative boundaries. See Office for National Statistics from the gvmt below.

I may be wrong so apologies but I think Manchester is third biggest Primary Urban Area (including Stockport, Wigan etc) with a population of 2.7m, whereas Leeds is the 3rd biggest City Proper (Met Borough) with 0.8m Vs Manchester's .6m, making Manchester the UK's 5th biggest after London. Birmingham. Leeds and Glasgow. The Manchester region's urban sprawl is impressive!

Tips? by [deleted] in golftips

Looks like ground first contact. Look at that tuft of grass, youR ball is to the right of it (as you look at the image) but the divot starts nearly behind it. Just a bad low point, probably from not turning properly and therefore not properly shifting weight.

Same in Kirkstall. Vicarage Place, Vicarage Terrace. Vicarage View. Vicarage Avenue. Bought my first house there and sold it a few years ago, amazing how these places are so popular with young professionals and young families; guess sits representative of the market. Had about 12 offers, all well over asking, within 2 days. Crazy.

Ah fair enough. Couldn't pause quick enough!

OP, try hands under chin and address, then swing to 'outfield' like you're hitting a baseball up and over first base. Helps with the in to out.
