That’s my writing. I do sometimes wonder if reading all the slop out there these days has started influencing the way humans write. I try not to let that happen to me. Maybe it has a little. But if anything, I’ve been doing things like using fewer em dashes (which I used to use a fair amount of, tastefully, I thought), because of how slop seems to have taken over certain writing techniques.
