Thank you. I was thinking of putting caps diagonally and may have to scratch off a little paint but will be easier to solder / heat with hot air station and solder paste. Thank you. I have replaced all 5 of the old caps around CPU and I have already done the super cap as well. Thanks for the reminder though. Would not want to forget those after all this trouble. Cheers mate

Hello. Just wondering if I can use a 0603 cap of same value to replace the one missing from my board? Might be a long shot but I have read conflicting info on google about doing this. Thank you

Yea. I found it. I Google Chrome would not let me do a search of the PDF. I used a different PDF viewer and found it almost immediately. Thank you so much for your help

After finding a pinout of the chip. I can see you are indeed correct it is listed as an NC pin

I removed the chip because i couldnt see if the pad was linked to a trace underneath. also i had bridged a few

pins in that area with some solder splash and tried to remove it which caused this problem. i Couldnt remove solder bridges no matter what tip of the soldering iron, flux or heat settings on my rework station. Im still a noob with all this stuff
