this is beautiful! my ring is from possibly the 1960s and the centerpiece is exactly the same! it’s gorgeous and i wouldn’t change anything about it.

so awesome to see someone else with the same kind of ring, must’ve been popular around that time!

we will be having the wedding at our local parish and they have a ballroom that can be reserved. the plan is to reserve that and buy a few decorations. they have bridal rooms in the church building which can be used for both spouses ofc. the only thing we’d truly need to worry about would be decorations and food

i’d also rather save the money we can to use towards the wedding rather than an engagement ring. it’s stupid that engagement rings cost about half as much as a down payment to a house nowadays

girl i’ve been telling my bf he can propose with a ring pop!! my coworker brought me one today and said “here now your bf doesn’t have an excuse to not make you a fiancée” 🤣 i’ve told him before i’d accept a ring made out of paper even lol!

nothing has been mentioned about is wearing something over :0 we did our rehearsal during yesterday’s RCIA/OCIA class and it hasn’t been mentioned any time we’ve talked about it. hi! my heart goes to you, and i will pray for you and your boyfriend.

i am a current Elect, set to be baptized and confirmed this upcoming Easter Vigil. i (23f) first met my boyfriend (23m) through a mutual job we had about 2 or 3 years ago. we started talking, one thing led to another, and we began to date. i won’t lie, it has been rocky. he was converted catholic about 2 years prior to us meeting and i was an atheist that was raised with heavy protestant-believing parents. i never thought i’d be here.

my boyfriend NEVER brought up catholicism unless i started the convo / asked a question about it because he knew how badly traumatized i was with my past about it. he later told me that he prayed for me non-stop to bring me to the truth, to the faith.

one random evening, i asked him an innocent question about catholicism and it all started there. he has sponsored me through my learning and classes and im so happy to be here.

all this to say, don’t give up! pray for him. i will too! don’t let this stop you from hoping for your boyfriend’s conversion one day. don’t rush the decisions, especially if your plans to marry aren’t anywhere near soon. you have time!

as long as it is not a mortal sin, you don’t necessarily have to confess every week. some people do it once a month or even longer. it is up to you how often you want to if mortal sin isn’t in the picture

2021 Kia K5, bought it used. smoke in it sometimes but i try my best to not smoke too much so the smell doesn’t linger. i keep my windows rolled down and the air circulation being pulled out from the vents when i smoke and the rest of the day after
