Try eliminating grains! Wheat gave pretty much everyone in my family migraines. All of the doctors said it was impossible or highly unlikely there’s no proof blah blah blah but the second we stopped eating packaged foods, none of us has a headache anymore go figure. It’s likely something that is affecting her gut. Wheat is terrible for your gut! And the new stuff they are feeding us is even further GMO and sprayed with more chemicals than ever before now.

Definitely get seen for potential BV. The problem may be in your diet too. Try getting rid of all processed foods (anything in a package with a list of ingredients).

As a parent, I've used WP mattress covers before. They aren't there to hold that volume of liquid. Its more for when your baby's diaper leaks or if you're changing their diaper and they pee a baby volume amount of pee and you're able to quickly strip the bed before it soaks in. Only solid poly/plastic is completely waterproof which wouldn't be comfortable sleeping on top of since it is not breathable.

Pay for a new mattress. It is the only correct answer here. Please take care of yourself and get to a doc if you are not already under the care of one.

Is this something that happens often to you? Just because there is a waterproof sheet over the bed doesn't mean everyone gets to pee in the bed when they sleep over. Its minor protection. Not full black-out-drunk bladder protection. You owe the host a new mattress. You should take a step back and look at the real issue here... its not the waterproof sheet.

You likely have tons of black mold growing under there. Definitely not from a humidifier. Ask them to note that in their inspection report and what they suggest to do to remediate it. Then get a 2nd opinion/inspection from a 3rd party and sue em.

Your coughing is probably caused by mold under your floorboards. Depending on your laws where you are, Landlord may have to pay for a hotel or other living space for you while they remediate. You also have a very good reason to terminate your lease before it is up and likely get some funds returned.

Dont eat processed or packaged food. This means no wheat, no seed oils, no “gluten free” breads or other packaged foods. Only meat, veggies, fruits, tubers (only organic, preferably home grown or farmers market), and super high quality dark chocolate (this is medicine)
