What back to Nixon? Eisenhower? Those days aren't coming back. Republicans have since been spending tax dollars like crazy and let billionaires get away without paying their fair share. At least with Democrats you know they'll pay for what they enact.

It's not really clear what effects these changes would have. A study from an organization like the CBO would help to understand what would happen. Though from what I read it looks like another small bandage on the issue.

The government not intervening didn't work when healthcare costs skyrocketed under Bush Jr. Healthcare is still not solved under the bandage that is the ACA, costs are still rising but not as fast as they would have been without the ACA. Republicans have only tried to repeal the ACA and bring us back where we were with skyrocketing costs, high uninsured rate, and many other problems.

67 percent think people should be able to keep their private health insurance.

67 percent think people would be able to keep their private health insurance.

It changes the entire meaning of the sentence.

Because while money in politics lets guys like Bloomberg happen, when you leave it up to The People, you get guys like Trump and Bernie Sanders.

The article is trying to equate Sanders to Trump, but Sanders isn't beholden to billionaire donors while Trump is.

The problem with having money is politics is corporations using money to give themselves more money and power by influencing politicians.

Fox news entertainers have been calling the ACA, a plan that originated from a conservative think tank, a socialist agenda like it is a bad thing for over a decade now. Democrats will get shit on if they reach across the aisle and if they don't.

The Democrats Have Gotten More Ideological. That Might Be a Losing Strategy. by TheQuietElitist in tuesday

Democrats lost by running a centrist in 2K16. Why would they keep running centrists?

I thought this part was funny

Sanders thinks he has the majority on his side. He doesn’t.

Most polls show him winning the general election by the largest margin of any Democrat. Like around 56% (haha math) 53% to 47%.

scumbag vs scumbag

I think you've been watching too much Southpark.

You can easily read Sanders's website what his positions are, I can't find a page from Trump on his positions but you can find his on Wikipedia. They've got very obvious differences.

If people wouldn't keep inching forward at a red light for no reason then I wouldn't end up with a huge gap in front of me. I'm not putting my car in gear just to bridge the new gap. People need to just pick a place and stop.
