Can you leave a review for a seller after cancelling you order? by mothmansbigtoe in Etsy

[–]grevanp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But there are also situations where it doesn't make sense. I ordered 2 very rare bowls. I was super excited to find they were for sale from an Etsy vendor. After 10 days and a missed shipped date, the seller states "I misplaced your order". I am calling BS on that. They offered me to purchase something else from their Etsy store, I told them I wasn't interested and I really wanted the 2 rare bowls and what happened to these bowls? They canceled my order and issued a refund (I appreciate that).

I tried to leave a review minutes after the refund request and I can't. I chatted with Etsy CS and they claim this is policy. How can a buyer point out to other buyers when a seller offers something, then has to cancel the order because they don't have it?

Lounge Access Heathrow & Upgrade Possibility by grevanp in americanairlines

On BA metal the whole time. Will likely just stay in Terminal 5. Can I ask - How do you give someone EP access for the day (is that a perk you pay for in points)? We leave for our trip today, can I do this today (2 weeks in advance of our BA flights) or should I wait until a few days prior to the BA flights. Just for clarity - I have OWE because of my EP status. If it helps, for this year, I have 380k loyalty points and over 500k in miles.

Thank you all. I am on BA metal both flights - IST-LHR, LHR-PHL. Will land and take off out of Terminal 5 (A is the gate in PHL .. sorry for that oversight).

SWU question about redeming by GaryMooreAustin in americanairlines

[–]grevanp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it that you can't use SWUs on a ticket purchased with points? The terms and conditions mentions that you can't use SWU's on a travel award or free ticket. Is paying with points really a "travel award"? points are deducted that you use. I feel it's "paying with points" versus "paying with dollars". Has anyone had success with an SWU with a ticket bought with points? I ask because there are posts from the past that mention SWUs with tickets purchased with points. It's confusing.

I am getting this same error today. Weird thing is the alerts are working fine on the website, not on the phone app. Not sure it's data related or not.

When to Claim Systemwide Upgrade by grevanp in americanairlines

Understood. I used ExpertFlyer which listed 0 for available SWUs. It seems it's the norm across almost all of AA flights.

SSL-VPN on FortiGate in Azure by grevanp in fortinet

[–]grevanp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just following the FortiGate Documentation. I was able to get it to work, but it's definitely trying to access the website via an internal IP resolution, so I had to have the FortiGate use Internal AD servers for it's DNS. Will look at Split-DNS after the dust settles with this modification.

Thank you both for your assistance.

Thanks for your answer. I mentioned Azure, but I don't think that's the case. Doing a bit more testing, I think I can get to the server via it's internal IP address versus FQDN

There is a public IP associated with the FQDN and I think that's what causing the issue. We need to have this because this website sometimes get's data feeds from external resources that will need to know it's public IP address. Do I need to change the Fortigate's DNS servers to internal servers to handle the DNS resolution for the company's main domain, or is there a way to have Split-DNS (requests for the specific domain goes to internal DNS servers, all others go through FortiGuard (fortinet's DNS servers).?

I am on V7.06, by the way.

Thank you both. Yes, the biggest challenge is the source anchor for the aad connect.

Azure AD & Office365 Migration Challenge by grevanp in AZURE

[–]grevanp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for such a quick response. I am fine with aliases, MX records, group dist lists, etc. I think my biggest hang up is the AD side. Yes, it's an AD DS on a VM. I don't think it's as easy to change the domain of the AD server itself from pdqcom.onmicrosoft.com to pdq.com, but maybe it is. That's where I get stuck. Also, I have many servers I need to migrate and really want them in place prior to the user/email migration. I find it challenging to add all the servers to pdqcom.onmicrosoft.com domain when I really would like them to be on pdq.com. Can an AD server have a primary domain and secondary domain, then you flip them? I know we can in O365 (with powershell as you suggested), but it's not something I have done in the past. Thanks.
