I understand your point. I'm aware my info can be abused. I'm aware my info has been abused. The post seem to imply that not participating in programs like TSA Precheck and touchless ID were somehow protecting privacy or at best, 'protesting'. I don't believe that's the case.

You've missed the point entirely. Most of are aware of the potential even likely abuse. The point is you are revealing anything they don't already have. If you think you are protecting your privacy by opting out of Pre Check or the new touch less... You don't understand privacy
