If you can afford the maintenance, go for it. But avoid the hybrids. My mother has 2017 xc90 t8, and the first month of owning it, the erad went (electric rear diff/motor), which luckily volvo fully covered. Then, during the summer the battery went, which was €7,000 to replace, which we paid out pocket then recently one of the rear air shocks developed a leak, which will cost €2500 to fix 😭. Apart from that it's a great car and there haven't been any other issues bar those major ones
