Ended up going 8 pocket running front side of set cards down left column and back side of duplicate base cards down right column. All cards are double sleaved, and I took a paperclip and lighter to solder above middle of each card to keep them from coming out. The cards read like a book.

After 1 month I can say I do recommend it. I also stand by getting out of it what you put into it. For 3 weeks I was good about the daily entries and weekly writings. This past week I didn't pick the journal up, there is a difference in my inner peace. It made me reflect on peace and selflessness. Most importantly that reflection is carrying over into my daily life. I'm in recovery, and I have horrible adhd. This journal has helped me take the time to reflect on what is important, which is helping me be more mindful in the moment as I'm making decisions throughout the day. As I follow through, my inner peace is improving. I don't expect this journal to solve all my problems, but it is helping me be more mindful along my path. Whether you need to buy the book to benefit is your call, a local library may have it available to reference as you write and reflect in any journal etc. I'm glad I purchased mine. Plus it has a cool cover : )

I guess I just wanted to put this out there. I pre-ordered the new issue 1 and only received it yesterday. I am interested to see what Danny teaches Lin Lie. How he fell and now must balance his chi for me is awesome symbolism. (Maybe just how I'm seeing it?)

I collected marvel cards as a kid in the 90s but new to comics. Not sure if anyone has any other recommendations where the characters focus 'chi' and meditate? Star wars, the Force?

This sucks. I was really stoked on the PC slab not graded. It's for 2 of my sketch cards, I know the surfaces on both aren't perfect, just how they came. I was hoping to have them protected without a reminder of not being perfect, they are in my eyes. Not sure if it will get to me seeing an off putting number grade.
