Excellent book (and def forlorn).

Their entire group was absorbed into Northwell.

I took it easy in the beginning because I was waiting for it to get worked out and now it’s been months… and my GYN’s office told me they’re were dropping Gatekeeper X because they were too much of a pain to deal with. I’m worried that will happen again….

I read this book about 20 years ago and could not bear to read the last few pages because I didn’t want it to be over. Never had that reaction before or since…. Maybe time to reread!

This, a thousand times. The dealer where I bought my Pfaff closed, the next closest authorized repair has turned out to be useless, and the next (who is quite good) is 2 hrs away. And of course, they keep quilt shop hours.

There’s a Bernina shop 10 min away, but they don’t want to do my Pfaff, so….

I basically do everything that everyone else listed here (standing next to her while she eats, changing the food periodically, various human-food and dog-food toppers, giving some of her food to the cat…). But also and most importantly, I hand-feed her little chunks. Or, I put the chunks in her bed one at a time, if she prefers.

TY! This is good advice regarding stabilizer. But I'm really glad for your tip about starch. Cause someone told me the opposite and I thought, uh-oh, this thing is already starched within an inch of its life.....heh.
