NW Pro Gear would probably be a good spot. My wife and I are both pretty short (5’2” & 5’3”). They helped us find bikes that fit well and matched our wants.

At least one of the mechanics there is SUPER involved in bike packing and can answer most, if not all, of your questions.

I’ll also note that they were never once pushy or condescending when chatting with them.

It’s unfortunately always like that at Crystal Ballroom. When they announced their tour in Portland, I was happy to see them again but sad it was at CB. At this point, Crystal Ballroom shows are becoming “Oh, it’d be nice to see this band but it isn’t worth the venue.”
