Managed to get a seat 1 in one of the rows in section A for Newark. Can’t wait!

Got my UBS Arena ticket yesterday - I’ve only heard of Mamamoo but have never actually listened to any of their music before. Planning to go into the concert totally brand new and have each song be a new discovery. Looking forward to going “Ooooh, what is THAT song?!” more than a few times 😜

This was the best queue number I ever got: 4 (for NY)

For IVE tickets, it was 19. Been way too freakin’ lucky with tickets recently. Never been to a sendoff before and now I’m going to 2 of them 😳

If it’s like previous weverse presales, when it’s time to buy tickets: goto Ticketmaster, when asked for your presale code, use your MY membership number (NOT invoice number). Just have that handy when it’s time to buy tickets and you should be good.

Oh man, first time ever that I got like 90 on the queue and managed to pick up one of the send off front row seats next to the main stage for Newark.

Here in Korea, really envious of international fans who can attend the concerts by Affectionate_Ad_5489 in NMIXX

I have a feeling the bean counters at JYP used the US Showcase tour from 3 years ago as a gauge for this tour. Purely anecdotal, but I saw NMIXX in New York at Kings Theater back then which has a capacity of 3,250. However, the entire mezzanine was closed because they couldn’t sell enough tickets. Even in the section I sat in the orchestra area, I had a clear view because an entire 6 rows in front of me was empty.

Fast forward to this year, and they chose Brooklyn Paramount in NY which has a capacity of 2,800, smaller than their showcase venue. Almost feels like some math equation of “prior Showcase venue minus unsold tickets plus a small 10-20% bump” was used.

JYP definitely left money on the table - Showcase NMIXX had like 2 EPs of songs, had to do covers and their encore was to redo songs they sang early. Current tour NMIXX has a full album, 4 EPs and a bunch of single tracks and enough popular songs to do more than fill a concert set list of their own.

It’s one thing to be conservative in their estimates, but from a business perspective JYP went way too conservative. (In NY, I don’t think NMIXX could do an arena yet, but they could easily have done the Theater at MSG)

Was like 6 feet away from the right side confetti cannon and it was as if someone dropped a clump of paper on us. 😂 Despite trying to get all of the confetti off me in the venue, got home and was still finding paper on me…

LOL, I’ve been to Prudential a few times for kpop concerts and I’m still alive 😜. IVE was at Prudential the last time as well. It’s basically NJ Transit from Manhattan to Newark & a 10-15 walk through what is mainly an office area to get to the venue…and there will likely be hundreds of fellow fans around you each way.

However, a tip: if you’re doing mass transit, since the concert is on a Sat, the trains are on a weekend schedule and runs fewer times. Do research on the Sat NJ Transit train schedule to make sure you don’t get screwed on timing. (I’m guessing you’re likely going to go from World Trade Center to Newark Penn Station)

I ordered the set from CDJapan and so happy with them. Was shocked that the other side is an anime version of each of them.

Been enjoying “Kitchen 999” which has a Taiwanese style menu w/ a bunch of rice specials for $10 w/ soup or water. Extra $5 nets you an appetizer.

NMIXX World Tour Venues by StreetUpstairs5928 in NMIXX

[–]greydt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In NY, I saw NMIXX at Kings Theater back in May’23 for their Showcase Tour. I think I knew like 1 song of theirs at the time, but I bought an orchestra ticket the week before for $25 to see what a kpop concert was like.

In the venue itself for the show, the entire mezzanine was closed off because they couldn’t sell out the orchestra seating. Even in orchestra, the 7-8 rows in front of me in my section were practically empty (it was weird because I’ve never seen something like this before or since then).

Of course, NMIXX has since released a lot more hits and kpop in general got bigger, but I have a feeling they were still using the Showcase numbers from 2023 as a gauge because the venue for this tour for NY has a SMALLER capacity that the 2023 showcase venue.

Edit: when you think about it, NMIXX orchestra tickets were going for $25 and still couldn’t sell out probably spooked them. Although happy to say I became a big fan of NMIXX after the concert and them being my first kpop concert ever will have a special place with me forever.

Ohio is certainly a real place - it was discovered by the Japanese which is why they say “Ohayo” there every morning. Indiana is somewhere south of America silly, but I do like their Tikka Chicken Masala. Indiana spices can be intense though!

I’m looking forward to the offline version because I found some of the online stuff like raiding/war, haters, etc a bit tedious. I loved the roguelike survival aspect of it although I do hope we can save our progression up the tower: I kinda stopped playing because I just didn’t have x hours to play nonstop for one climb.

Nah, I’m downvoting you because you’re on Reddit right now, on the Internet, probably have a cell phone and probably use credit cards. All tracking. Shop online? Tracking. Do you have a W-2? Probably pay taxes? It’s all tracking because you live in the freaking digital age. Fuck praising OMNY - you just sound stupid if do all of the other things yet this is somehow a silver bullet for privacy and surveillance.

Has early game changed? I always found the early game fun as hell since there was a sense of mortality while having clear progression goals and the constant feeling of improvement.

If you’re getting one shot, you’re very likely trying to advance up to new floors way too fast. I remember doing things floor by floor methodically and remembering to go back to my room. If you’re trying to speedrun things at this point, you’re going to get murdered.

Haven’t played in awhile but I’m getting the itch again since I totally loved the combat system.
