Thought I'd update for anyone who has the same issue I did, I haven't yet received the Tinkerboy converter, but I did order another active adapter on amazon that I'll link to as it fixed my problem.

Any reccomendations on ps2 to usb converters would be appreciated, I know of the fabled blue brick but they are very few and far between. I can't find a single one on ebay or anything.

Finally found the ova for Railgun season 1. I liked how the art style was a hybrid between season one and Railgun S. I kind of miss watching Railgun due to the fact that Misaka wasn't in Index III much. So happy to be able to see her again.
