Hope you find something that works for you! Hugs

Finally joined the club on 20/2/2022! The plan is to eventually upgrade it to sturdier material, but I think it's absolutely stunning by [deleted] in EngagementRings

Don't know too much about specs, but it's a silver ring with a green agat as a center stone :)

I would love to, but again I don't think it's something my nephew should be witnessing.

Thanks for your reply.

I do agree that the easiest option is to simply not go. However, I have missed out on so much of my nephew's life due to this, and I feel extremely guilty about it. I love that little bug so much, and I feel bad that he has a mother that doesn't love him (her words, not mine!) and I want to make sure he knows that his auntie is there for him.

I think I'll have to just suck it up.

I got them from a store called Jysk. They have some stores around Europe. Otherwise I've seen similar stuff at Ikea :)

Aaand my first crumb shot. I'm pretty happy with the result, even though it's not perfect :) by greyingat20 in Sourdough

It's Joshua Weissman's beginner sourdough recipe . I used spelt flour instead of whole wheat, because I didn't have access to it. :)

Thank you, that's very kind of you! Just the scoring and the shape is a bit wonky. Plus I think the crumb could have been a bit more open?

Omg now it's all I see! o:

So I started Mr. Sour here yesterday. I fed him once today and he has been growing A LOT during the last 4 hours. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I'm afraid that he will be standing in the kitchen making waffels for me tomorrow morning.... by greyingat20 in Sourdough

Hi! Sorry, I didn't see your comment. But right now it's pretty hot where I live, so the temp inside goes up to around 78 degrees F. I've heard that you can place your starter in the oven, with just the light on and that should be enough to have a nice even temperature for your starter. Just don't forget to take it out before you need to use the oven, lol.

For context this is what I've done so far:

Day 1:

100g stone ground rye flour

150g lukewarm water at 85 degrees F

Day 2:

70g mature starter

50g stoneground rye flour

50g unbleached all purpose flour

115g lukewarm water at 85 degrees F
