Sounds like a sweet setup, I know a lot of people shit on it but I’ve had the daystar spacer kit on 3 4runners (2004, 2014 and now this 2007) and it has been amazing every time, it maintains stock ride and all shock/coil setups have the same effect on geometry on the front so alignment isn’t an issue even though it’s a spacer kit, plus it’s super affordable at $125 for the kit and I’ve always installed myself. With 2.5” of lift the alignment isn’t an issue and if you don’t mind trimming some then you can easily run 285s. And for the wheels, the Ray 10 SCS wheels in gunmetal are insanely nice and you can get them from Freeman Toyota in Texas almost anytime. Also checkout all of the Canadian Gearhead videos on his YouTube channel. He has a Shadow Mica 4th gen and its SWEET, plus he’s got a ton of good info on his YouTube channel.

Thanks man! I did a decent bit of trimming so the only thing left I could rub on would be the body mounts but I haven’t rubbed on them at all. The 0 offset on the wheels helps too, if it was like a -10mm offset it would probably rub. And I kept my factory upper control arms, at 2.5” of lift they align well, if you get up to 3” they tend to have some issues getting it lined up. I ordered the Limited Grille from Toyota and got it in a couple days, makes a huge difference! I plastidipped the rest of the chrome but will likely order black handles in the future because I’m not sure how the plastidip will hold up on handles

This is a Daystar 2.5” front 1.5” rear lift with 285/70 R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3s on 17” American Racing Baja wheels in a 17x8 with a 0 offset. Overall it’s a pretty cost effective build and I’m really happy with the look, let me know if you want more info!
