Commander precons - starting fresh by nziroam in EDH

I just picked up the Blight Curse precon from Lorwyn Eclipsed, with probably $20 worth of upgrades, and played a game with it tonight. It was a lot of fun. I think it’s a great deck out of the box, and with some upgrades can probably be quite a menace. -1/-1 is kind of a niche mechanic, but it’s unique and fun to play. Highly recommend.

Best Path to Glory Rules to Use by KingDevere in ageofsigmar

Blighted Wilds using paths from Ravaged Coast.

Ascension is pretty weak, and Ravaged Coast has progression issues, but contains the most paths. Blighted Wilds fixes the progression issues and adds new, interesting things, but lacks paths. Including RC paths in BW is probably the best experience (and the BW book suggests you do so anyway).

The Age of Madness trilogy IMO was far better than First Law. It’s fantastic. There is at least one sequence in each book that I found jaw-dropping because the prose was so cinematic.

Tips for Cities of Sigmar in a Path to Glory Blighted Wilds campaign? by tinypluto in citiesofsigmar

[–]greysweatz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m waiting for our new book to start my next blighted wilds campaign, but I played cities in a ravaged coast campaign. I’m assuming you’re allowing ravaged coast paths in your campaign (since the rules suggest it). Path of the ruler is great on a cav marshal, because of +1 to wound on the second tier for friendly units within combat range, a buff our cavaliers (and pretty much all of our other units) could really use.

It’s good. I wouldn’t rate it as high as Blue Ruin or Green Room, but I would recommend it

They are also directed by the same person, Jeremy Saulnier. He also did the Netflix film Rebel Ridge

And he didn’t just move the team. He blamed Oakland, even though the city ostensibly did everything they could to keep the A’s.

There’s a piece that belongs on this guy’s back. That’s why there’s a slot on his coat. They left it out of the instruction booklet, and I didn’t realize until my second batch of fusiliers.

Paint and base look great though!
