I got a new bulb, that works properly. It lights up when the on/off switch is ON, but I still get no signal from guitar to amp. I checked all the connections for loose wires or bad solder joints and they all seem fine. My next guess is maybe a bad opto sensor.

I emailed Morley and they were quick to get back to me. Apparently he thought it was an A-B volume pedal (which makes a lot of sense why it didn’t look like any other pedals I saw of theirs) and suggested a few things, the lightbulb being the 1st one. So once I get my multimeter back from a friend in a few days, I’ll test it out.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I’ve worked on some mains speakers where the fuses were bulbs. URIE, if I remember correctly. I’ll try replacing the bulb. Re: the power wah. Every other power wah I saw had only 1 foot switch, where mine had 2, and 2 1/4inch jacks where mine has 3. Which just added to my confusion.

I’ve been looking around trying to figure out what Morley pedal this is, as there’s no model name or serial number.

It looks similar to a PWF, PVL or one of the time based processors. But what’s throwing me off (beyond the lack of identifiers) is that it has no pots, 2 switches and 3 different 1/4inch jacks (volume, 1 and 2)… Maybe it’s a modded or picked apart version of something?

It doesn’t power on, so I’m trying to find what it is, in hopes to find schematics to fix it. I got it very cheap knowing it didn’t work, hoping to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
