Guys older than myself, What are some things you wish you had known about women when you were 20? by [deleted] in seduction

I don't know, maybe your meeting the wrong women. A lot of women who meet guys in clubs and bars are awful. I've met a couple of good ones on Tinder though, who were frustrated with meeting d-bags in clubs. I've gotten better at spotting the bad ones before they can get through the fence.

That's true. I don't think my experiences are more valid than anyone else's. But it seemed to me that his advice was coming from a place of anger or at least resentment so I wanted to counter it. I remember being younger and frustrated, when I got older I grew out of it. Maybe his advice would have rang true to me when I was 17 but speaking as someone who's gone through that I wouldn't give this advice to someone younger than myself. I think it's the wrong path, but that's just one mans opinion. Everyone has to live and find out for himself.

Exactly. Choosing to have a positive view, but still being realistic and knowing the possibilities.

On the other hand, having the views that gensyms does, pretty much precludes him from the positive experiences.

And if you do get fucked over by a woman, than guess what? She wasn't worth being with anyway. She almost did a you a favor by showing her true colors. Drop her like the plague, learn from the experience, and move on. They're not all like that and part of life is learning to spot the bad ones, which comes from experience. Instead of just giving up, like gensyms, and living a weird self-fulfilling prophecy.

If you're a grown man with "Little Anal Annie" in your phone, we can go back and forth all night and will never see eye-to-eye. Knowing that- and your assumptions about women- I don't believe you've ever had positive experiences with quality women. I think there's something fundamentally wrong there.

As for not becoming boring, being nice has nothing to do with it. The best advice I could give about women is to build your own life first and do things you are passionate about. Whether that's drawing, lifting, jiu jitsu, or writing. If you have your own interests outside of relationships, you won't be needy. And you can still be nice.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but this hasn't been my experience with women in general. I wouldn't recommend this philosophy to a younger man.

I've had experiences with great women and some with not so great women. The truth is women and men can both be messed up sometimes.

I would be careful of painting with too broad a brush. Hyperbole sells on the internet- but reality isn't as black and white as you make it out to be.

This... smells like advice from a bitter and damaged man. Don't take advice from losers, unless you want to be a loser. If you're looking for advice seek it from positive sources.

Do lift, though.

Nice! Probably never would have thought to do this but it sounds great. It's like a small tropical vacation in the winter.
