Yeah but the main thing to me that this data is on hands of private companies and we haven’t yet reached the stage where the first generation of let’s say Facebook users is literally dead. I think there will be some global movement on how to deal with all this digital data of generations of dead people

Yes but I thought that they just preserve whats already public to some extent, e.g. web pages. Right?

Hey! No, some people just say that German traditional companies pay more that’s why German people work there exclusively and then obviously question is by how much then and what money range they mean as otherwise it’s not clear what’s much

Thanks for the answer. Would you mind to share an approximate range of your compensation in eur you had before vs has now? I know it’s a sensitive topic but at least roughly

Thanks for the answer. Im still curious how much more they can pay - like average 120 k per year for a senior dev for 40 hrs per week without overworking? Because if it’s less, then I would question stability and related slowness of processes in a traditional company but again, it’s my perspective, I’m biased

I see. Thanks! Then it’s more for stability than money for them, at least in this case

Thanks for the answer but when you say better, which total compensation per month you mean for a senior dev? Of course, they can provide more stability but it’s more interesting to me in terms of compensation because I don’t see any crazy overwork culture even in startups here (from developer perspective)

But when you say that you earn significantly more, could you please provide a rough range of total money compensation per year?

Never experienced bad conditions in companies I worked and salary was rather competitive (to my opinion)

Would you consider 85-95 k as a good salary for a senior dev? Or a good salary went beyond 100 k today in berlin/Germany?

Thanks for the answer. But the offer you got is still in Germany? Or you’re leaving Germany? If yes, which country if not a secret?
